ADOPTED! A5079499 Cathy | Pit Bull / Vizsla mix

A5079499 Cathy is a 1½-year-old goldish-brown-with-white female Pit Bull and Vizsla mix who entered the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray on June 17th. Weighing 47 lbs, Cathy shows signs of house training, has a medium energy level, knows how to sit on command, and is good enough on leash that a brush-up on her skills should make her into a perfect walking companion. She passed her shelter-administered temperament test and is quite good with other dogs. But she impressed us with her love of people above all else. Her handler called her the “Mayor of Dogtown” because she wants to say hello to every person in the area. Cathy is attentive, alert, and smart, which makes her ideal for further training if that’s desired. We think this good-natured and fun-loving teen will be a great addition to any active household as an indoor pet and companion.

Our Mission:
United Hope for Animals is dedicated to reducing homelessness among companion animals through spay/neuter, shelter support, photography, video and networking of shelter animals in Southern California. It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization working to end homelessness among companion animals by supporting shelter adoptions and spay/neuter programs. UHA is not a shelter, but supports shelters to help increase visibility of animals who might not otherwise be seen.
