I glad his family raising turned out well! My Step sister adopted a baby girl after miscarriages and than not getting pregnant. She gave Nancy a wonderful life however she died of ovarian cancer when Nancy was in college. Her adopted Father died 10 years later. We keep somewhat in touch when I lived in Florida we met for lunch one day when to visit her step Mother whom she had a great relationship with. She also connected with birth Mother also. So there are good stories of meeting up later and being raised by a loving family!

@deanallen92898 жыл бұрын
+Shelly Romer You really need to do lots and lots of reading to understand the trauma that adoptee's experience by the very nature of being adoptee's. It causes significant harm to many adoptee's. Just because he is angry, does not mean he can't love the people who raised him. They are not mutually exclusive. He was given away. If that doesn't affect someone's psyche, then I don't know what would. Please ensure you read, so that your comments or thoughts don't actually do more harm to his situation than good.
@candyngold18537 жыл бұрын
You are not adopted. so you may be clueless as to why but it's quite obvious to us adoptees as we get older why we have some resentment...Its quite obvious because even though the adopted baby has a "Perfect" life there is still a void for biological Dna that will NEVER EVER be filled unless of course you have kids. This was 2 years ago so hopefully you have some understanding now.
@ElectedOfficial16 жыл бұрын
Shelly Romer Adoption only helps if the real parents are dead. Then the child knows he was wanted. I lost all my siblings to foster homes and adoptions. My little sister died before I could meet her! It's hell on us. My husband was adopted and it killed our marriage. Children must stay with their patents or blood relatives at all costs unless their lives are on the line and I do mean, on the line. Otherwise, another unwanted loose in the world, it's not a pretty site.

I met my family for the first time almost a year ago. They all live within 30-40 minutes of my house. Shane mentions in the video that he ran over it in his head, but when he met them, he didn’t know what to say. That was also true for me. It’s also odd to how similar I was with my new family. I know a part of that is cultural, since we are from the same are, but some of the personality traits are really odd. I’m 54 and have known my father’s name since I was about six years old. I had done some online research and got the names of my three sisters, and sent them each a private FaceBook message. I am so glad I did this. Admittedly, I was afraid that I wouldn’t get a positive response. My experience has been so rewarding. Basically, I just had to face the fact that if I didn’t reach out, it was going to be my fault if I never met them. If you have an opportunity to meet some family that doesn’t know you, I suggest you try. If you are rejected, you are no worse off than you are now. Just be bold!!!

Bryan Lb get the book, remembering Cynthia rose...find out why thousands of parents are losing their children everyday!! I was coerced by the state or lose her sister, my daughter was coerced under threat of losing her other unborn children, one on the way. CPS has a big racket going....I will forever live in my nightmare as will her sister, without her. My daughter, her mother, got cancer without her child. Life ceases to exist without our children. There is a group of young people out there fighting the system called he Rainbow group or something similar ...it's been too long to remember, but get a report from your State Ombudsman on the amount of children in foster care and you won't believe it. One senator lost her life trying to save our children. She was on her way to Washington DC with proof of child trafficking...her and her husband were killed. The authorities said it was suicide and we all know better. We had just spoken with her. Get the book and type in senator Nancy Schaefer . God bless you. And yes, the adoptive parents know what's going on.

Everybody's circumstances are different, each person makes decisions which they think will be best at the time, and yes, all of us look back and are maybe a little wiser, but for you to comment like you did, to try to make yourself look better, whilst more than likely upsetting others who were possibly forced to act differently, was a horrible thing to do, especially when you admit to a record of irresponsibility yoursel. It seems women here get slammed for keeping their babies, and for giving them up for adoption.

Yep, damned if you do and damned if you don't and the babys dad can just disappear into the sunset with no social castigation.

And for abortion. Women are condemned no matter what they choose. Hell, I have three and some people were surprised I got my tubes tied. You make such pretty babies, you should make more. Others told me I waited two kids too long. You can't fucking win. Unless you ignore the opinions and do what's best for you.

@@kosmos1957 ever thought about a. blokes dont get told b. women disappear when the man is away or at work(and they clear your house out too thats guaranteed) c. put another mans name on the birth certificate(or put father unknown) and d. call the man a deadbeat without knowing for sure hes the biological father(a common issue with women opening their fat mouths without thinking it through)

@@alfredoperri8076 You hit the nail on the head. People all over the country are discovering with an at home dna test that the man they believed to be their father, is not their father. I am a woman and I am so sick of this .... woman have to pay while men walk away. Lets assign men an equal portion of responsibility when they have equal say in the pregnancy and birth and are dna proven to father a child. Until then, women do carry the heavier load... by choice, not by force. You can dna test now while a child is in the womb.

True but how can you knock a girl for keeping her baby. The struggles they encounter must be so hard not to mention the financial side. This woman has some nerve to call these girls selfish. Is she the grandmother of this man.

This is the best I have seen ever about adoption. I love it. The positive nature of this is true that most adoptive families are wonderful people only trying to give back something they were ordained to do. God is great and He is in it all of the way. Its such a wonderful thing to hear him say his parents as in his adoptive parents and to hear him being so proud of his being their son. Its amazing thank you for posting this God bless.Added this.. I see the big picture here and this selfless wonderful act by the biological mom. Oh yes, this little boy was so wanted not just by her but, by the dad and of course the adoptive parents. I can go by saying this beautiful man can teach how great things can come of it. He is loving gentle and attentive to his family. What if she decided to abort him?? thats a question some of our adoptees may need to think about. I am so super proud of this woman. She truly did believe someone would gain a son. She believed she was obedient to God and for all those biological moms thank you for seeing it through. God would be so happy with your act of selflessness. To the great parenting of the adoptive parents. Well done! God continues to bless.

What a beautiful family!!😍 And I love that his daughter now looks like his biological mother and father. 😊 the other kids too, but I saw his mother in his daughter. And it's crazy how much he's still like them down to the spiritual beliefs.
