Hey y'all,
One of the most common questions we get is for an update on our foster care journey and whether or not we plan to adopt our kiddos. After some new development, we finally sat down and are going over everything in today's video.
We can't thank you enough for all of the love and support you've sent our family over the years. You've been on this journey with us since the beginning and it feels like, in a way, we've gone through it together.

As a former foster kid, I can totally see how you could get attached after 22 days. My final family I was placed with, I grew attached to after a week as a 10 year old, They tought me to be who I am today and LOVED me when I felt I was unloveable. The first PJ&T video that I had ever viewed was when the kids came to stay with you (that was about a year and a half ago). I binge-watched every video after that until I Was fully updated, and then watched every video before that. Today I wait for every episode of your lives together and today's video represents a culmination of everything that I, and all your viewers, have hoped for. I could not be happier for you both and the kids. The love that emanates from your channel is so pure and true. In an odd way, I feel like a part of your family even though we have never met. I have never seen the kids, nor do I even know their names and yet I stand prepared to do anything to help them remain in your care because they are your children and you are their parents, and nothing or no one should be allowed to change that. I should not even give you any joy by responding but the stupidity and rudeness of some jerks never ceases to amaze me ! I assume you are making the judgement based on religion but if you get to HEAVEN through your judgement you will find GOD is LOVE ! GOD will reward these guys for extending their hearts !Have you seen how the children have bloomed learning to brush their teeth , potty trained Mia ! The kids are on a schedule . I think how wonderful it is for the kids and how the LOVE they are given will grow and grow ! They will be able to self care and care for their off springs ! Congratulations Guys. We started our family 20 years ago. Our boys were half brothers with a significant age difference. The oldest boy was in his teens and would be aging out in a few years. The youngest was in early elementary school and very close to his brother. Fast forward 20 plus years and we now are looking forward to being grand dads . Watching the video brought back so many of the struggles and rewards. We wouldn't have changed anything.

Dear PJ &Thomas, God bless you for being such fantastic foster parents for the 2 last years. You both are doing so much good for the 2 brothers and little sis and gave them a warm and loving home even in hard and challenging times like last year. It is wonderful to see how you both without kids to have managed to have 3 little kids which weren’t very easy in the beginning, to change them to happy and well behaved kids in 2 years. Just thinking what bringing 1 newborn home changes your live, I can’t imagine what a change 3 kids bringing home must feel. Loved those tears of joy and happiness in your eyes Thomas. We think the last 2 years were supposed to be this way. You are supposed to have these wonderful kiddos. I got so emotional when you announced how close to the end of the process you were. Over the past 2+ years I’ve seen the progression these little guys & gal have made in your care. I admit I was worried about their mental capacities, but it proved environment & nurturing is as important, if not more so, in the development of children, than the biological.I’m thrilled for you guys, and the kiddos! When I thought you had bitten off more than you could chew, you took that bite and chewed it so successfully. The children are so fortunate to have been placed by you. My family is blended. I had two boys and my husband had two. The kid's ages all paired up in less than a years difference ( between ages two and four). Our first year together was hard. We also had fairly hostile exes on top of everything else. But we made it! They grew up happy, healthy and " mostly well adjusted"😁. All are married and parents in their right. So happy for you!! My husband and I finished the adoption of our kids from foster care and I so relate to so much you talk about. I will say that on adoption day the kids did change and for the better. It was like they could take a deep breath for the first time. Ours were 5,5, and 7.

Clanea Came across yr channel a few months ago, only took 2 videos to get me hooked. It did take a bit to figure out the whole kids situation. I needed to start from the beginning & watch everything. Didn't think I could love y'all more. So happy for all 5 of you that you are going to be a real 'legal' family. The kids are lucky. I thank those bio parents for doing the right thing for the kids, I wish them luck with their recovery or whatever their personal circumstances are. I have been hanging out for this news. I can remember when you first got the kiddies, and the ups and downs. I am so happy that their journey to their forever loving home is almost at an end. You (and all other foster parents moving toward adoption during COVID) are heroes of patience, resilience and endurance through the uncertainty and unpredictably of delays, postponements, reschedulings, etc. brought on as "the system" with its protocols coped with a wild card like COVID! we had two kids by surrogate long before it was widely done., and adopted one as a baby. (The baby no one wanted) The one deemed "will face challenges" is 15 now and she was recently inducted into the national honor society, active in social justice campaigns, and an awesome kid. It is the most incredible journey anyone can do. Kids will change your life in the most amazing way. I have wondered where you were in your process. So glad to see the end is near. There is something about the finality when that gavel drops. It's finally done. God speed and you guys and those precious children are in our thoughts and prayers.
