Adorable Baby Chimp Jeff Having Fun With His Big Sister!

Chester Zoo's baby chimpanzee Jeff loves nothing better than playing outside
with his big sister Stevie on a warm sunny day.
Baby Jeff is now exploring his environment and spends a little more time away from mum ZeeZee, but under the watchful eye of the group.
There is always a chimp looking out for him! and he regularly runs back to his mother ZeeZee - if he doesn't get grabbed by one of the other chimps first! (mainly by adults Sally and Pattie or the younger chimps Stevie and Annie)
ZeeZee is a laid back experienced mother chimp who has had previous offspring and as she gets so much help with her baby from the other chimps, This chimpanzee group have a strong family relationship which is wonderful as it helps to give other chimps who have yet to have babies and teach the young chimps much needed skill to raise families of their own
Baby Jeff is such a little cutie, and he is growing in strength and confidence by the day, Stevie is certainly helping him with this.

There are currently as of 2023, 20 chimps in 2 seperate chimp groups at Chester Zoo consisting of 7 Males and 13 Females The oldest is Boris at 56 years old Born 1966 and the youngest is Jeff who was Born in December 2022
Most of the chimps at Chester Zoo, have appeared in the popular nature documentary series, shown on TV called The Secret Life Of The Zoo
This animal documentary series was first aired on TV in 2016 and has run for 10 seasons from 2016 - 2021

I love how chimps indulge the younger members of their troop. Jeff is so cute, exploring his world, doing somersaults, and climbing on top of the older chimps. And when he's all tuckered out he just climbs on someone's back and gets carried around. What a life!

Hey, the little chimps are so adorable, I find myself mystified when I watch them, there flips and tumbles, God really blessed us with there presence. It's hard to believe the poachers and those in the animal trade could hurt a baby and its family, when the babies look you in the eye it just melts your heart.❤❤❤
