Such a sweet baby and such a loving and attentive Momma! I love how she keeps checking her baby over to make sure she is ok, love at its purest! I don’t know how some people can see them as pests or just things without feelings or not intelligent, just viewing this 2 min video you can see how amazing they are and so close to human behavior.

I believe Gibbons are considered a lesser of the Ape family AKA Small Ape and not a monkey so their DNA characteristics are a lot like humans. Fascinating creatures. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's crazy to see the amount of hate and dislike for monkeys and apes relative to any other animal. At first I thought it was a 4chan trolling attempt but it's not, and it's been going on for more than a decade. From what I could dig up, people who want to harm monkeys are sociopaths at best, psychopaths at worst. Something is wrong in their brain and it's usually related to empathy. Seeing the monkeys makes them think of humans but they can freely talk about hurting them without the same stigma attached to talking about harming people.

I love the way she can kick back and cross their ankles and the way she just wrapped her whole body around her baby knowing instinctively the keeper very warm. That was two and a half minutes of sweetness. She's going to be a good Mama I hope.

Уеs, long tailed monkeys seem to be the most careless and cruel mothers to their tiny babies, they mistreat them badly, in fact mum monkeeys do bare minimum to keep their babies alive, poor tiny babies since the first minute of their birth have to strugle for their lives😔

That poor little naked baby! She's a great mum - so carefully keeping baby covered in her fur, and protecting every bare naked inch of it. Checks its bum to make sure it's clean. Even as a newborn the baby seems all arms and legs.

What a beautiful and, humanistic creature! Especially the baby! From the back, it's almost hard to tell it's not human! So naked without fur! it’s a gibbon, they are lesser apes so they’re different from monkeys but all are primates that’s why they look similar (apes don’t have tails which is the most recognisable indicator of difference). they aren’t classified with the other greater apes like humans, orangutans, gorillas and chimps/bonobos because they’re too small :)
