Why did you use chalk paint for the base as opposed to sticking with acrylic?

I have 2 questions...What kind of glue gun do you use? Also where did you get that little iron? They both look really handy. TFS I just noticed your glue gun is Ryobi but still curious about the iron. Very cute project!

Thank you! Yes the glue gun is Ryobi. The iron is a travel iron! I love it, but there is a recall on mine so I need to get a different one. You can just search travel iron on Amazon☺️
