Romaji should be: "Kanojo no egao wa kawaii" "Her smile is cute".
@nobdydoh42637 жыл бұрын
Bud E You do know there's no such thing as a literal translation, right? English is a particularly flexible language. In Texas, こんにちわ means howdy. 😉 (The best known example of this is probably John 21:15-17 in which, according to English versions, Jesus asks Peter the same exact question three times. ("Do you love Me?") This has confused some English readers, but in the original Greek text Jesus asks three unique questions.) But thank you for correcting the romaji.
@bude82347 жыл бұрын
I was mainly correcting the Romaji. I used to make that mistake all the time for that word, so it was near and dear to me. :-) I agree translations are flexible, I just added that as an alternate for the reader's benefit. I did not mean to insult you.

So many people misunderstood the childrens action... Japanese kids keep touching the hair of the baby, thats not because they are curious about the hair color but that is the way Japanese cherish little kids. Even the little girl said, "kawaii ne, yoshiyoshi shite agetara?" which means, "So cute, isnt he? Why dont you do "good good" to him?" at 1:29. Patting a head gently while saying "yoshiyoshi(good good)" is the typical japanese way of cherishing, or cheering up little kids.

What Not To Do At a Stoplight but unfortunately their reproductive rate is decreasing bc women in Japan finally woke up and realized that being a slave to a man and his parents while you take care of the kids and do everything in the house isn’t how to live. They’re finding their own independence and realized that they’ll never get that freedom if they become a mother and a wife.

Japanese children are the most gentle and respectful group of kids I have ever had the pleasure of teaching, and I've taught all over Asia/Europe/US. I used to be a teacher in Japan in my early twenties, the kids are raised to be clean, honest, humble, and most importantly, respectful - they posses strong core values. In addition to this, Japanese kids are *highly* intelligent...I was shocked, to say the least. After teaching all over the world, I saw the difference for myself - I have a whole new level of respect for the Japanese culture and education system, it's beyond any other country I've lived in.

This is so beautiful to watch. Honestly it’s somewhat symbolic. It shows how humans behave when politics and race is not an issue. People in the comments should really stop being rude and saying things about American or Japanese people. Why can’t we just all enjoy something for once without arguing and saying which nationality is better?
@richerDiLefto6 жыл бұрын
Rubellite Fae - The Japanese are polite and nice on the surface, but they have serious social issues just like every other human culture on the planet. Many are xenophobic to the point of hiding their children from foreigners and avoiding them on the bus. I don’t hold it too much against them because that behavior is what you would expect from people in a country that was kept private from other types of people for so long, but it’s still quite unpleasant to be on the receiving end of that kind of fear. Foreigners aren’t the only people with the problem. You know about the burakumin, right? They are native Japanese who still endure horrific, disgusting treatment in their own country and they have yet to experience the tolerance and “humanity” you think is so endemic in Japan. I love Japan, but I’m not going to lie to myself and say that it’s perfect, in fact, it’s very far from it. The people there just know how to hide it well from everyone else.

0:54~ 2:44~ 3:16~ 4:00~ 彼女は、赤ん坊がとても好きなんだろうね。触りたくて関わりたくて仕方ないようだ。^^ She seems to like the baby very much. She would like to touch the baby and play with her. :-)

For people who don't know: The lady says: Gentle, gentle, gentle. Good morning. They keep calling the baby cute. And obviously the mom says thank you. Then they say Bye-bye baby!
