How did stray cats survive in the morning of a night of heavy rain filled with lightning?

We had a night when the weather conditions were horribly bad for Istanbul stray cats. The next morning, in heavy rain, I set out and visited the stray cats. All the stray cats in the area where the cat houses we built were located managed to survive. However, stray cats in other parts of Istanbul were not so lucky. I visited all the cats along the coastal path and fed them. I fed them all, one by one, because there was no one else on the streets in these unforgiving weather conditions. The lightning strikes and flashes throughout the night frightened the stray cats very much. I petted and comforted scared stray cats all day long. These poor babies deserve better. This is all the fault of irresponsible humans who breed millions of animals that they cannot take care of. And for choosing not to spade and to neuter them. Thank you for always taking care of these beautiful angels. I wish I could take care of them all and give them a warm and loving home. They deserve the world. It makes no sense that their little houses have to be on top of dangerous rocks. The heavy winds and waters can easily drown the cats. It's disgusting and heart breaking that the government makes you put the houses in unsafe areas. I'm sorry, I know you hate this fact.
