There were many street cats where I lived before that were this friendly. They were super friendly maybe because I pet them and played with them and fed them every day since their kittenhood, a few other people did that randomely there. But I saw those cats all since very young age and they never lived in a house. I unfortunately didn't have the conditions and means to bring them in. So I'm just saying this cat could have also been just out in the streets but became friendly and touchy for other reasons like her personality or a lot of pet that she got from people in the street.

Dogs are pack animals and by nature they are more social than cats. If you abandon a dog and a cat, the cat will become more feral in a shorter amount of time than the dog. And if a kitten is born to a feral mother they can be very wild and skittish. It’s a process to socialize them and takes time, patience and trust. All my cats came from the streets. All were feral except one and she was dumped as a pregnant female.

I have a 6 month old male who was born in my garage who has a pale blue eye and a pale yellow eye. He is beautiful, I also have his brother, who is also beautiful. Their Mama was feral and gave me 6 itty-bitty kitties, and then sadly, she disappeared only a week and a half later. So I became Mama and did everything to keep them warm, their tummies full, help with potty time, clean, happy, and safe. The other beauties have their forever homes, and I kept two. It was a lot of work, and I was pretty much at home 24/7 with them. I didn't have an incubator, so the little ones slept with me, and my two female doggos helped cuddle with them. @@TK-7193 LOL I never said catnap them or force them all i said was stop teasing the cat & there's plenty of times even in the beginning the cat looks eager to not just the food but trying to get inside maybe because it was warm or cold outside. I obviously eventually the cat is let in as I said though after a few days if it seems like it doesn't have an owner or parent & is eager to come in you can bring it inside & eventually take it to the vet to get checked for a chip & make sure its healthy. If its got a chip & the own wants it bad or lives in your neighborhood you can just let it out & be a good neighbor going forward especially on really hot or really cold days. Otherwise if no chip or owner abandoned it then you can either keep it as it seem supposably here or give it to a shelter who can find it a forever home. That's one cat that clearly wants & deserves a forever home though. My girlfriend & I do it all the time for dogs & cats but we don't try to make a big deal for clicks about it. After all we have 2 cats & her two dogs so we always have food she also works for a near a vet so getting a animal checked for chip or health isn't a big deal to us. I also understand not every cat wants to be helped like many humans & that's perfectly ok too. But this cat's actions didn't remotely suggest that was it's mentality at all.

One if our cats died from a scratch on her face. It developed into a gaping hole rhat smelled bad and the vet said he was most probably in pain and there was no solution but to put him to sleep. See, he was an indoor cat during the day and we would let him out at night. This was before we learned that male cats outdoors at night fight each other and should be especially kept indoors at night time. We didn't notice the scratch until we saw a lump on his face and smelled him at the same time. We were so upset thst he was in pain and never noticed. We didn't want to send him to sleep but we just wanted him not to have to suffer any longer. We had a photo book made up of pictures and fond memories of him. Our son, who was only 7 at the time, drew a picture of "cat heaven" and we included it in the album. Cat heaven has a big, soft cat bed, a food/water bowl, cat toys, a line of sausages and a large window to spend hours bird watching. We got our son a new cat and she isn't allowed out before 9.00am and after 3.00pm. We only let her out for her mental health, to wriggle around on the warm concrete, enjoy the sunshine rays and to eat grass. She is too scared to go very far from home and she has trained us to know when to let her out and when to open the door to let her back in. We are well trained and obedient human slaves! 😁
