I remember the first time watching this. It was like 9am and the video had just been uploaded. As the crazy huge Adore fan girl that I am, I immediately watched the video, my heart raising because I was so excited to get new content from them. It was the first time I ever heard Pretty Boys Cry and my jaw was on the floor the entire video. The rest of the day I had the song on repeat non-stop. At first my dad asked me "who is this singing this? It's an amazing song!" and I smiled and said proudly "IT'S ADORE'S SONG!". But after a few hours of this song he asked me if it wasn't driving me crazy. But it never did. Over the years I didn't want to watch this video too often because I was scared that it would loose it's magic. But every time I watched it, it felt like that moment I sat up straight on my bed with my mouth open listening to this piece of art for the first time. Now it's three years later, a lot has happened and it's been hard, but now I am learning for my final exams. This video playing over and over and over. Still feeling that magic and giving me the strength to keep going and graduate. I just met them for the first time 6 days ago and they sang PBC at that show. I sill can't wrap my mind around the fact that I finally got to tell my one and only true love what they mean to me. I love them so much. They mean everything to me. Knowing myself I will randomly scan the comments while listening to this performance again in a few years. I will find this comment and at first cringe, but then smile, because my love for them has never changed and never will. So to my future self: you got this and Adore will always be a part of you.
