This needs to change and Hybe's anti vocals policy. How they don't provide heavy vocal training for their girl groups. Don't take set positions into consideration for girl groups who should focus on their individual strength to balance up the groups like Illit for example who are not all-rounded.

If HYBE proves Minhejin committed breach of trust like they accuse of her then HYBE can buy her share of the stock of Adore back, which counts for 20% of Adore for $2.6mil or so. Hani Danielle Haerin Hyein were scouted and trained by her under the assumption that they would debut under her name as MHJ’s GG. The trainees she was training were shafted for Sakura and Chaewon so she decided to take them to ADOR so that they could debut since their future was now in question since all resources at Source were now being put into debuting Le Sserafim.

Honestly, this should’ve been hashed out behind closed doors. I hate corporations so much, even though they’re very valuable. My takeaway from all this, regardless of who’s right from either corporation, is that three GGs have been dragged through the mud: NewJeans, ILLIT, and LE SSERAFIM, which could affect ALL of their careers. These three groups are so awesome, and it’s annoying these grown adults are having a high school feud over “who’s better.” Y’all are from the same company, you all are making money. Now, because of, again, a pointless feud, you’re potentially risking tanking the reputations of ALL your girl groups. Heck, even GFRIEND, who’s sadly been disbanded for years now, was dragged into this. Both companies need to grow up and stop sabotaging all of their artists’ future. If this childish feud continues, we won’t have any of them.

I think they had to do this publicly because it's a public company and bringing someone to court is also something companies can't do "behind closed doors". Of course, in order to have a chance against Hybe when it comes to PR MHJ had to do something very public that got a lot of attention (press conference). At the end of the day the affected groups are just projects to them that are more or less profitable.

There's one thing that's giving me a red flag about all this. Before Hybe brought up the audit I was wondering why would you make a gg almost identical to one your company already has? Why would you make direct competition within your company? Wouldn't you want to reach a wider audience of people? Why would you waste all the money and resources on the same thing just to get people burnt out? Hybe had an opportunity to create a new gg with a different concept but instead they chose one they already had. The songs sound similar, the styling is very similar (at events they thought they were new jeans), some of the choreography and stages seem similar. It's obvious they are replacements. You can argue with me but deep down everyone knows this is the case.

I'd describe newjeans concept as being more towards y2k, rnb, high teen, 90s-esque concept meanwhile illit having a more so of dreamcore, poppy, anime-esque concept. I'd say that they are complementary groups but not really similar or the exact same. Again I have to reiterate that this is from my perspective and my opinion but you can tell me more info on what I'm actually missing about this whole thing. 😭

None of those groups will "go down" unless their fans or Hybe give up on them. It's a tricky situation for NewJeans though. They might be "too big to fail" already but if they are so emotionally attached to Min Heejin that they don't want to give up on her then Hybe might give up on them as soon as Bang Shi-Hyuk feels confident that he can replace them with Illit. I think this is not only about money but ego as well. BSH is creatively involved with Illit but not with NewJeans - thats MHJ's "baby" and she wants to have full control over this project.

Why would Hybe feel so threatened from Min Hee Jin wanting to be free from them? I could understand that Nwj(under Ador) is giving Hybe an important amount of money but they have plenty of labels with other successful kpop groups that gives them also an important amount of money. Great video! Honestly this whole case has been crazy. At this point in time both sides look bad. I agree that it is concerning how Hybe runs it’s sub labels, and that definitely needs to be addressed. But the thing I’m most worried about is New Jeans and Illit. These poor girls are being subjected to so much due to crazy adults. Hopefully this case goes to court soon so we can get a real conclusion. After all that has been revealed Hybe’s internal audit just seems suspicious

This is the best video about this case that I have watched so far and yes, I would love to see an update when there is relevant new information. As an Army I would love the drama to be over before Jin comes back from the military in mid June. But if not, it wouldn't surprise me if Bang Shi-Hyuk "uses" Jin for his personal PR. Jin seems to be the one member in BTS who likes their boss the most. Jin cooked, ate and drank with him and posted photos of them together afterwards, he emphasized a few times that their company is a good and smart company and even called Bang PD their "dad" on Suchwita (Suga replied with "my dad is my dad"). On the other hand Taehyung (V) actually worked with Min Heejin on his solo album. That doesn't have to mean anything regarding this feud over Ador but whenever Armys take Hybe's side because of BTS and say "Trust BTS" then I think "Wait, but if Min Heejin was radiating pure evil, how did she pass Tae's vibe check?" (I know his "vibe check" is more of an Army inside joke and probably not a real thing - but still... the math ain't mathing...)
