THUMBS UP if you think the CFMOTO brand is on the rise overall?
@jcapen111 ай бұрын
I'm an RZR owner, but I hope that CFmoto is on the rise. It can only improve the sport to have more options. I remember having a banshee in the 90s. My uncle bought some goofy 400cc two stroke quad with 4wheel drive (polaris scrambler). The banshee was by far the more desirable machine. But that company that built the scrambler sure did evolve.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd11 ай бұрын
@@jcapen1 I agree 100% I always say that when manufacturers compete, consumers win. As for the Banshee vs Scrambler comparison, it’s excellent. Thinking back to the early 2000 Polaris ATV’s and looking at where they are now is insane. I never would have bought a Polaris ATV in that era and now the tides have shifted. I feel the CFMOTO offering will continue to improve. Often it’s easier to chase than to lead. When you’re on top everyone is gunning for you, when you further in the pack no one is paying attention to you and that’s when you can experience the most overall growth if you play strategically.

#CFMOTOUSA invited us out to their annual media and press event this season to abuse... I mean... "TEST RIDE" their entire 2024 lineup of machines. We have been having a lot of fun with the #CFMOTOS ever since I got one for the channel and they continue to pleasantly surprise us. I promised I'd be open minded and as unbiased as I can to the #CFMOTO brand and so far I feel we have been doing a good job of that. I'm getting more and more confident with these machines but we need to continue stress testing before we can come to any real conclusion.... LET THE TESTING CONTINUE! There will be a new video dropping next week of our recent trip to Tennessee where we took the Z-Force 950 HO EX and the RZR Turbo. There were a bunch of CFMOTO's there as well as a Segway Villain so you will see how those machines handled the double black and black trails at Windrock Park. Let's say it was very interesting... Stay tuned!!

@chrisgunn227711 ай бұрын
Thank you for your open minded approach. 3 years ago I said “NEVER” would I own a CFMoto but then a close friend purchased one and I was still an ATV rider. We went out and just pounded it every weekend for 2 years and he never had an issue with it. When it was my time to move to a UTV I didn’t want to pay what a new truck would cost. I purchased a a Zforce 950 HO this year and put 900 miles on it already with zero issues so far. Are there things that need improvement? Of course there is just like all manufacturers. The best part is I can upgrade what I want when I want just like everyone else is doing no matter what brand they are ripping. To me that’s what it’s all about making it your machine how you want it how you ride. All but me out of my riding group now have Polaris (due to CFmoto at the time didn’t have a 4 seater)and they also upgrade their parts clutching, shocks, exhaust, etc just like me. With the help of some good suppliers the parts are becoming very plentiful (MSC, Super ATV) and others. Again Thank you for being open minded and giving other brands a chance because you are influential to your viewers and maybe some people will also give em a chance in the future. 👍👍👍
@AdrenalineJunkieProd11 ай бұрын
Hey Chris, I appreciate that thoughtful comment and all the great points. Sparking up conversations like this in the comments sections of the videos is always my intention. My overall goal of getting a CFMOTO was to document an open and unbiased user experience. There are a lot of strong positive and negative opinions of the brand, my opinion is that the truth generally lays somewhere in between those two extremes. I too said NEVER a few years ago… and here we are… There is nothing wrong with brand preference, however, blind and illogical bias against a brand for no concrete reason has always been hard for me to accept. It’s like the ppl who say, my great grandpa drove a ford, my grandpa drove a ford, my dad drove a ford, even if ford sucks I’m gonna drive a ford and say it’s the best… that stuff doesn’t really fly. All machines break, they all wear out, they all need modifications and maintenance. I think people are smart enough to see through most of the marketing exaggerations and smoke screens these days. If you are seriously doing your research prior to a big purchase like a new SXS then you want real world information, that’s what I am trying to provide in all of my videos.

I got my first Polaris ATV in 93, and have stuck with them ever since. That 1K looks to be a huge upgrade over my 05 Sportsman 500. The problem is having the brake on the throttle grip. That seems like it could be a safety issue in some situations. That would almost make it a no buy for me based on brake lever placement. The UTV's have come along way. They are holding up very well. They are at the point, I would buy one for a primary machine now. They front ends are holding up really well now. I remember you had a CF Moto machine on a ride several years ago. It did not make it half way through the ride because of broken parts. I am super happy with the progress they have made making them a reliable machine.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd11 ай бұрын
It’s a really nice ATV. I was impressed. They will be switching the brake side for next model year I heard and some of the other models have already had the change made. I agree, like I said in the video, brake on throttle side is really annoying.

Loved the video. I am a firm believer that any ATV/UTV that gets you through the day/night is well worth it. But with that said you want to ride something that you do not have to fix after each ride. I have had a few toys, and most would not believe me when I said I had a Polaris 4x4 for more than 3 years and the only thing I had to do with the Polaris was oil and tires oh and I had to buy a new battery. My Suzuki quad 4x4 all I ever had to do with that was oil and tires. Yes, I use to ride them hard just like you were in this video. When you buy something and have to fix it every week then it no longer is worth owning one. I did not just use my machines for pleasure I also used them for working hauling wood and trees. I also used them to plow snow and haul dirt. Well I also used it for putting in boats and pulling boats out of the water.

you could have totally made it up the concrete blocks if you'd have lowered the tire pressure. But you made a big dent in it! Cudos!
@AdrenalineJunkieProd11 ай бұрын
Those blocks look so much crazier in person. I do think he could have made it also but the risk going higher was pretty high because if he slipped off the machine could lay over in its side and cause some serious scuffs and scratches. Ronnie didn’t want to bang up one of the demo machines. If we were riding our own machines you know we would of been hitting that thing harder as for tire pressure, definitely should have been lower for that type of climbing but they had the machines setup for the mid-high speed trails. I’m pretty sure they didn’t want us anywhere near those concrete blocks lol 😂

The Cardo communicators rock. The Cardo app lets you record the audio. You then export an mp3 of it. Then in post processing you sync the Cardo audio with your camera audio the best you can and lay it over the camera audio as an additional audio track on your timeline. It’s a few extra steps and not as easy as just hitting record. Well worth the effort though.

Glad you enjoyed the video!! They didn’t tell us anything specific about new engines but my gut tells me they will have to Kick it up a bit if they want to stay current. Keep in mind that right now it doesn’t appear they are chasing the flagships from Polaris or can-am. The majority of the market is riding machines like the RZR XP 1000, RZR 900 S Or Maverick Sport. I feel those are the types of machines they are focusing on currently. It makes sense from a business perspective. I hope when they revise the 950 HO EX they do a total styling redesign. I feel if they could make them look really nice they would sell a lot more units. I’m not a fan of the styling myself but I totally ignored looks when choosing this machine. The front end has grown on me and I don’t mind the side profile either but the rear end is hideous. I think looks are a huge factor in many ppls decision making when choosing a vehicle and I really feel that’s where cfmoto fell short on the HO EX. However, I rather have a machine that performs well and doesn’t look amazing than something that looks great and performs like crap.

Ya man, Hyundai is another solid example of a company that has evolved beyond what most people would have expected 20ish years ago. The thing a lot of ppl don’t realize is that CFMOTO is actually a huge company that’s very well established in many sectors outside of just producing their own machines. They have been in business since the mid 80s and they have been building components in their factories for some of the biggest brands out there. The “bigger” or maybe a better term would be “more popular” Powersports brand have ignored them for a long time and I doubt they are overly worried about them now, but there is no doubt they are paying more attention. For lack of better comparisons, it’s like a nest of wasps. Not even noticeable at first, barely noticeable after a while, a little annoying mid term and then before you know it a huge problem and hard to control if left to grow unchecked. CFMOTO has been buzzing around behind the scenes for a long time and they have built up the numbers now to make a more serious impact.

With that information people can come to their own conclusions. I thought the same not that long ago, I would have said I'd never own one either, but I took a chance and I've been having fun with it. Keep in mind it's not my only machine but it's evident that the brand is making huge improvements and they have some very competitive pricing.
