I read that LS models without factory sound/decoder need special maping on the decoders for the light functions to work properly.I want to buy the OBB Vectron without sound and install a ESU lokpilot 5 decoder like you did but if maping is needed to work properly this is a problem..What can you tell me about it?Did the ESU decoder required a AUX output maping with the lokprogramer for the lighting?

Hi. It is correct, you need to "program" (function mapping) the decoder for all light functions to work properly. The decoder can be programed with CV programing (does not require ESU LokProgrammer). I might do a video tutorial how to program the decoder using Roco z21. Please let me know ig you would be interested in this video.
