If they can bring back American Idol, why not! Random, but I'm just saying. It's not needed. But shows like the ones you mentioned need to come back. Find ways to incorporate today's social media and digital buying into the show (like live launches of albums on iTunes or Tidal, with the artist on the shows to promote the albums on the launch date and promotes them as the album is digital launched and concluded the celebration with one last performance). There could be album drop celebrations set up in different parts of the world that are huge for the artist (and places where the fans are small, but devoted), with technology and social media used to help make the it all feel palpable no matter where your from. An experience shared all over the world among devoted fans, simultaneously.
