This was when there was no digital recording or track system. Was recorded in a four track console going to a tape machine, few had an idea what recording or producing a song really was, Nepali music didn’t have the luxury of modern instruments so we can proudly say this was the birth of modern Nepali music or adhunik Nepali music from our very own town Darjeeling. Tape machine is a stereo system so the whole band was recorded on one side of the tape then the sound recordist/engineer who himself was a bass player(Mohan Dikshit) then added the bass on the other side of the tape (left/right) the mixed it to stereo tape,kinda of a multi track recording in those days, so children be proud that our town did all this kinda things when there was no resources at their disposal and gave birth to modern Nepali Music to this world.

Adrian da...this is totally new feel to this epic song.When I first heard this song from the Arpan album, the feel was that the protagonist of the song has overcome the departure of his lady's betrayal and he is back to his rock n roll days.But your version paints the protagonist still languishing in the throes of pain and I can almost see him Mouthing the lyrics with bottle and a glass..the ultimate image of a heartbroken kid..
