These two builds are pretty fun for Ocho. Of course there are Tesla and the healing weapons as well plus the Pascal but these are for those that may not have those newer weapons yet. Also I'm still debating on whether I prefer Hiruko over Shai since the games I played the Hiruko build was performing better overall. I think if you have Hiruko, Shai or Pascal they all work really well but those would be the drones I would gravitate towards for now.

Not sure if I would really call it "balanced". Maybe closer to where it should be is probably the right answer. As max has mentioned here, I would definitely consider it top 5 in the current meta. Usually those that are in top 5 aren't balanced relative to all other bots.

Hey Adrian, I am surprised that you missed the perfect cook for this build. There is a secret build that makes Kochi insane. It’s goes like this, Seven pilot, wonder worker, defense expert, deft survivor. Shai drone. 1 NA, 1 RA and last stand. Use any weapons you like but I have shifang and Venum. Advance healing. Try it and let me know. I usually don’t share my secret recipe 😅 but as long time friend I sacrifice this one.

Nah you don't. A lot of top players were running that build before because it charged up their mothership and Titan faster. Since those things have now been nerfed (charge rate of both mothership and pretty much all weapons), it opens the door for other builds which is nice.

I still use my unknown Ocho and it's a beast with hiruko. It's still one of the strongest bots. I would rate it around 5 -7th best bot atm. Spam that health button and it's basically invincible haha I been using freedom mace and cudgels or aramis/porthos and these are the best all around setups that work for me haha.

ocho has to be at least mk 2 to be useful. Mk 3 will be way better but people dont usually have that many upgrade tokens

I think this applies to most bots. If I knew I was going to face more levelled up players that have MK2 or MK3, the ideal would be to match that - it doesn't matter what bot.

I have the full setup and have been wondering if it’s a good idea to level them up to mk2 since I’m currently using the workshop to build hazards instead of the mace and cudgel atm. Thanks!

That build isn't bad. I personally don't like it more because of the way those weapons fire and reload. Because of how slow they fire (even though they do hit hard), you're more likely to miss faster moving targets. Keep in mind too you're also rushing in so you're adding to that problem. Not sure if this makes sense?

You are using the Rust Weapons very well ! Many players do not see it. I myself never thought about them.

It's so effective. You should honestly try them with older weapons. I was actually kinda shocked when I first ran my Blitz setup with Quarkers of all weapons. I only had two Quarkers but the Rust was making them so effective. I guess the main challenge then would really just to get these weapons but as I mentioned even if you had only one and it wasn't even levelled up it really evens the playing field especially against your heavy tanks.

Hey Adrian, as always you make great content. Now, I’m not a frequent player, I take my regular breaks from the game and switch between, MK, GSS, MiniMilitia etc. I was creating this Shell with 3 fortifiers ! And I wanna know if you could tell if the harpoon/Needle would also get charged up with the fortifiers ??? Thanks !

I have to assure you, ocho is still op. But in balanced way as it should. I use all hp, 2x defense skills, recharge ability etc. I tried hiruko, shai, armadilo, even kestrel, they all work well but hiruko and shai work the best for me. 1 repai, 1 nuclear and 1 immune amps and flames, 1 ultimate, 2 light special edition flames and 1 new repair medoum weapon. It works really really well especially against rooks. It was hard to adjust to this because it's different playstyle, many people miss on great builds because they don't stick to it and learn the playstyle, but it's really op. But I will definitely try put there 1-2 tamers. I use 1 tamer on imugi with 2 ultimate orkans, it works great, are 2 tamers necessary? Wouldn't it be better to use 1 blight and 1 tamer only?

I use the two Tamers because if the one I have gets knocked off the build becomes less effective. At that point then you're relying solely on just damage to take out your opponent but remember at that point if they have things like Avalon, heals, Phase Shift etc you have the odds heavily stacked against you. What throws things heavily in your favour are the rust weapons. Hope this helps!

I think that's up to you. Some tell me they prefer just one but I prefer two just in case that one gets blown off. The other advantage of having two is more for things like corner shooting - it covers you for both sides rather than just the one.

It's because of the Tamers - they prevent a player from healing. I found if you prevent a player from healing you really don't need as much firepower as you might think. This is why when I originally did my Blitz setup a while back I discovered Tamers paired with Quarkers were doing a crazy amount of damage. - this lead me to other builds using the same idea. The Shell, Rayker followed but then I applied the samed to Ocho and even to some degree my recent Revenant setup. I also have Nuclear Amplifier on my builds and I believe the one pilot skill might boost damage as well. Hope this explains things.

I think either works. I'll have to try the Seven pilot again. I remember when that came out and I was comparing the two, I survived a lot longer with the Vepkho. I still have a feeling the Vepkho might be stronger but I'd have to run them again after those changes were made to Hiruko.

Sonic weapons while they do grey damage won't sync well with the Tamers unless you're right in front of your opponent. This is why I prefer Hazard or Mace since it has more reach. Not sure if that makes sense? It's the same as comparing the Tesla with Tamers and Hazard with Tamers. The Hazard would perform better overall simply because the ranges of the two weapons are similar.

Gosh it's a while back. Might even be maybe 3 or 4 updates ago? Either way it doesn't have to be a Frozen Tamer. If you have a regular Tamer at MK1 level 1 it'll help because it's more just the effect you're after. The Tamer itself doesn't do much damage when maxed at least after the nerf compared to other weapons but it's the rust effect that wipes out any tank because it prevents them from healing.

Tamers is what's making this build so good - it prevents all tanks from healing. If you run Scatters then you would need to run Dampers. Although... I can't see that combo being very good as it'll suffer on damage output.

I don't know if anybody else has noticed but it feels like they've nerfed the walking speed of the Eiffel. It's extremely slow walking now and I don't remember it being THAT slow! That's why it's always getting hung up on ledges etc.

whats up with the game lately? The majority of games , 1 team is down 2,3, 4+ players very fast. Every single day this happens. in Domination or BR. Players keep telling me they do it because the game is "pay2win" but they do it just as bad (if not worse) in Fortnite which is free. You can run one but I prefer two. If I lose one of those Tamers then the build itself isn't as effective (and yes it makes a very big difference).

The only downside with the first ocho build is if someone has Avalon kinda defeats the purpose of the load out high damage burst with no way to heal it. And you can still charge motherships pretty quick still be less than a minute mostly

You can still charge motherships decently but nowhere near what it was before. I never really had issues with players using things like Avalon. I think the bigger counter is Phase Shift rather than Avalon. Phase Shift can be activated way more frequently but it'll cost you. The problem with the rust weapons though is that they reload so fast so even if you used Avalon or even if you used Phase Shift you'll get hit by the rust again. This is what I have experienced whenever I go down to players using those weapons whether I'm in my Ultimate Fenrir, Ocho, Curie, Raptor etc.

If your Repair Amplifiers aren't kicking into gear then I would maybe add a Last Stand. Even something like adding a Last Stand and using Shai can be super annoying since you'd have two Last Stands. Hope this helps!

If you're going to be in Master or Champion League that goes for pretty much most setups not just Ocho. You're also missing a lot of things that can benefit your hangar. For example combining Rust weapons with older weapons. This is why players struggle so much - they see something maxed out and just assume that's why they can't build a decent hangar. They are under the impression it HAS to be MK3 or HAS to be the latest. The Ocho that I'm running in both was nerfed a while back. The REASON why I'm showing it was because many players who had it before ditched and said it was garbage when it really isn't. It's still ranked as one of the top 5 in the game. I wasn't even using the latest weapons either. I was using Rust with both Hazard and Mace.

I hatet these Ochos when they were on the battle field. 2 of them and the game was over in 2 min, wasting EnergyCells and Boosters. But it was every time in the past with so many bots and weapons. So with this System*, Pixonic is stealing billions of dollars out from our pockets and the game gets expensive 20 times! Now Ocho vs. Raptor, ocho is in 3sec dead! So the „greedy System Pixonic“ has to be stopped. Maybe EU helps, because they are Russians * System Pixonic: nerf older weapons and bots to obsolescence, so the new ones are more overpowered and nearly useless, not before the players expensively have maxed the new items. With one of the next upgrades Cycle begins again

Yeaaahhhhh, great. Now look at how lopsided the final battle stats are. Look at how unbalanced that game was. I bet those other players really enjoyed playing with someone so stupidly overpowered, against which they had absolutely no chance. Bravo (golf claps). I am in Master I, and half of the players , or more, in every game I play are Champion and waaay overpowered for the rest of the players. We get slaughtered in no time; it's loads of fun...not. Sure, unbelievable power with everything maxxed out, but 99% of us can't afford, or refuse to pay, the money it would cost to achieve that level. And let's face it, spending THAT much money on something that has no value, and WILL be nerfed/replaced/outdone in a couple of months is a monumentally stupid investment. I know people who have spent THOUSANDS, just to have everything nerfed or made obsolete by something even more powerful just a couple of months later. How about showing loadouts geared for the REAL players out there?

Most players don't know what "skill" is. Just like what I witnessed yesteday in my Members Live Stream when I used my Baby Account with only MK1 level 6 bots vs MK2 and MK3 players. In one game I believe I even spawn raided the enemy with that MK1 level 6 hangar.
