If you are ONLY friends (and that's the basis for friends with benefits) you normally don't find the other person especially physically attractive. That's the real problem. REAL friends with benefits should never feel very attracted towards the other person physically. The sex should just be very "superficial". This is what real friends with benefits is for me. Anything else is an open relationship because if you feel attracted there is already more than friendship and this is where the story begins and ends in most cases. So as not many people like to have sex with someone that they just like but don't find sexually attractive, there are very very few real friendships with relationships.
