The Iphone's damage might be because of the pressure you used to get the hardened cola off of it, you didn't pour as much hot water on the iphone as you did the samsung, just saying.

I did not expect the iPhone to survive either, but the defect on the iPhone may have been caused by the way in which we ripped it out of the ice, vs. we let the other phone disengage from the ice without the force, by melting it more. I still can't believe it though. The iPhone survived!
