Crazy hey? Wow, the size of the hailstones were something else. I guess people were caught coming home from work. I remember Calgary had hail that size and the damaged it caused was extensive, especially to dealerships. All those new cars had smashed windows and huge dents. Hopefully nobody was seriously hurt. Good job!!👏🏻👏🏻

I also learned that living in Queensland--where Brisbane is located--is what will get me most of this wild weather. The rest of Australia outside of Queensland and the outback with those huge sandstorms and dust devils seems to be fine. That is until the fire season starts. That's an Aussie's worst enemy--those enormous bush fires...

You guys have been going through some tuff stuff of late, with your storms, fire and heat. Hope you are doing ok up and over there 😊. In the heat nake sure you drink plenty of water and include electrolytes. A trick here for keeping cool is to wet a cloth, put it in the freezer, not too long, just until the cloth has started to harden. Then put the cloth around your neck, it cools you down. Stay safe!

It might have been okay. Part of the beauty of steel stumps is they usually flex with breaking. As a carpenter I'd want to weld in some serious bracing after seeing that. I'm accused of overdoing bracing and tie down but I would have put a lot more in to begin with

It was later reported that there was no storm that night. The neighborhood houses had a planned tequila fest of drinking and gambling. This man's house lost the kitty and drank too much. The house had a slight "homeowner" the next day but was able to make it into work.

@@lesskinner8588 they looked like 75*75 mm RHS which is pretty standard on restumps. As long as the wall size is heavy enough they should be right but definitely needed some more bracing every if it was just temporary. @@toram6210 I like this channel, but no, those storms are not getting any worse. Not over the course of my life, anyway. The super cells are a yearly occurrence due to the topography and ocean air currents. Hot air meets cold air (just about every day in summer here in Brisbane) and boom. Some summers are worse than others, but I don't remember any that didn't have at least a few storms like the ones on this video. Cheers!

I’m surprised that no footage exists of this hailstorm in this town called Yalboroo but a few months back it dropped some absolutely massive hail stones and I think might’ve been some of the largest hailstones in the world coming in around about 16cm in diameter. This storm while not overly impressive lead to a lot of extensive damage around the small township and left large creators in the ground. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured or killed from the event but it was definitely a insane thing to happen.
