Usage rights - please read: I’m posting the usage rights and important information about my music right here in a comment on every new video so that they’re easily accessible to everyone. =) USAGE: If your project (any project at all, movie, photography, websites, live shows etc.) is non-commercial, which means it doesn't earn you any money, then you can use my music for free. Only given credits are necessary, that's the only condition. Credits would be totally fine as a small text in the movie, website etc. written "Music by Adrian von Ziegler". In live shows and other projects where including a text would be difficult, an oral mention would suffice as well. =) On KZbin and twitch you can also use my music for free even if you monetize your videos by the way! ANY school projects have automatic free permission to use my music, no license payment is required. If the project is commercial, meaning it makes money in any way (except KZbin and twitch, see above), you would have to buy a license for the music you want to use. The license payment would be small in almost all cases except for big budget productions. It would be a one-time payment, so you can use the music you bought forever in that project. It does not give you any rights over the music however, so remixing the music, re-selling it etc. is not allowed. Giving credits is also necessary in commercial projects. Please note that "for free" only applies to the usage license. Music is my full-time job and is where 100% of my earnings come from. So no matter what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music. Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). Adding bird noises, nature sounds or similar things are allowed. Nightcore alterations are also allowed while non-commercial and labelled with original title and author (Google "Nightcore" in case of confusion). So if your project is non-commercial or a KZbin project, just give credits and there is nothing holding you back from using my songs. ANY song you want. =) If it's commercial stuff just write me a personal message or an email at adrianvonziegler@gmx.ch and inform me about the scale and details of the project and we'll make a deal. REQUESTED MUSIC: I have recently made a very good experience with collaborating with other artists and am now - carefully - open to requests. Please note before sending me a request that any agreement will have to assure me a high level of control and independence over the composing process and certain copy- and intellectual rights over any composition that has been created on request (this entails for example that I can still upload and sell any music that I composed for a given project). Important: I do not allow my music to be used in any project that has a clear political, racist or discriminatory message or is pornographic. By that I mean anything that goes from direct political, racist or discriminatory videos or underlining speeches with my music, onto remixing my melodies into a song that has lyrics with clear political, racist or discriminatory message and similar things that clearly promote these things. Same goes for explicit pornography. Media with nude art is allowed, if not pornographic in nature and purpose. I hope you're having an awesome day, and thanks a lot for being interested in my music! =)

I like the way you see this and described it. I feel like far too often we fInd ourselves reminiscing about the past or looking to the future and each is fine in its own right. I think where we fInd a repeating pattern of trouble is forgetting to enjoy the now in its given moment. The days of yesterday's past are often the missed moments in the here and now that came to pass without due appreciation. Look upon the past fondly and look to the future with hope but embrace the current moments as they are or every day of your future and each tomorrow will be spent wishing back your yesterday's. And yet that world doesn't exist and probably never will exist because we cherish and fantasize about that world only because we live in a harsher and nastier world, had we truly lived in a world like that we wouldn't appreciate it as much because we'll strive for something even better than that and we will get bored pretty fast living in this peaceful and beautiful heaven because it is simply not in our nature. it''s hard to live here and now but then again that free heaven we think we want is fake so it's better to find real fulfillment in reality rather than in your own self made nirvana, sad but true and in the end might be comforting.

They are relieved to be able to rest peacefully before setting out on the next part of their journey, but also know they can rest here again if they come back this way. A young lad from a small rural village of farmers would always play in the woods. This boy had lost his mother to illness during a harsh winter and the family could not afford the medicine to save her. The forest is where he ran too when times were harsh. The soothing serenity settled the boy and there his mind could drift away from the harsh reality beyond the woodland edge. One day in the following spring the birds were singing in the branches above. The boy looked up in awe at the beauty surrounding him and noticed the bushes nearby move. Diverting his gaze to them the boy's eyes widened when a massive brown bear walked out of them. He was scared as it approached and made its way up to him. Closing his eyes the boy felt a wet yet soft sensation run down the side of his cheek. He weakly opened one eye to see the bear licking him. There was a calm and nurturing look in the bear's eyes. The boy immediately felt at ease sensing that this majestic creature meant him no harm. He followed the bear and matched its slow stride. He noticed this mother bear had no cubs around her, for none came running out to greet their mother when she returned to her den. That night he slept beside her, comforted and kept warm by her. When the sun rose and the boy awoke the bear was gone. He quickly rushed back home to explain to his father. His father enraged and drunk struck the boy and put him to work on the farm. Every day he would venture into the forest after work in search of her. Some days she would appear to him, other days not. They would play and he would ride the bear through the forest enjoying her company, and when she left him as she always did he would slowly slip back into feelings of loneliness and sadness. The thought of maybe tomorrow he would see her again drove the boy. A few years had passed and the boy was now of age to take up arms for his lord. The young man did not want to but had no choice. So one last time before he would leave, he entered the place where he spent his childhood, where all his memories were carefully stored and guarded. The bear eagerly greeted him with a lick once again but sensed something was wrong. She too realized it was time for the boy to become a man. She brought him some berries to eat, the young man almost in tears laughed and ate them. "Don't worry, I will be back one day." said the young man. He swore the bear almost seemed to cry, there was an odd look in her eyes too, a very familiar look that he could not place. Hugging the bear he stood up and put his barbute on. He turned and walked away but as he did the bear began to grunt and almost speak. He couldn't understand it but he did indeed feel it. She was telling him she'd be waiting. So when the boy had left and gone to war, whenever on the field he would remember the forest and it would calm his mind. He had traveled all over and even found a wife. He was lucky enough to live past 30 and at that age, he had more rights as a senior soldier. As promised he made the trip home but brought his family. He looked in the forest for many days during the winter but never saw her once. Spring came and it was time to teach his son how to take care of himself but before he could fetch his son the boy ran off toward the woods saying, "She came back!" The man looked up and saw the bear from his childhood and watched while smiling as his boy ran up and hugged her.

Yes. Just yes. Thank you. I first found your Celtic music when I searched for something 'celticy' to put on in the background for when I'd write. I'd just started writing a story then. The long 20 minute pieces were such a big part of the atmosphere while writing. So much so that when I hear 'Autumn Forest' I'm immediately transported back to a specific part early in the story. Only the long ones really had that effect, as the short ones would simply (and logically) pass much too quickly to ingrain themselves in that way. I actually finished that story half a year ago. It took me 3½ years, and a complete startover halfway through. I'd say 70% of it was written while listening to your Celtic music. Towards the end I started listening to other things - had just heard it too many times, probably. But it never really felt the same, never felt right. I genuinly think it's why I became a bit unhappy with it. All that other stuff I ended up listening to over time wasn't the _sound_ of my story. Even though the story is kinda awful, I'm working on a 2nd draft - just because it means a lot to me by now. And once more, I'm listening to your Celtic music while I do so. It just feels wrong not to do so. And I always write on sunday evenings/nights. So I here am taking a break and what do I see? A new 20 minute Celtic piece. And I couldn't be happier. **sniff** You beautiful bastard. It's like you knew. **sniff** :-)

Is your story posted online? Or are you going to sell it, by chance? Or possibly do a KZbin audiobook thingy? I mean, you mentioned that Adrian's music was a big part of your writing process. What if you used Adrian's music in the background and had someone read over it? - Feel free to use any of my music as well. I don't have any Celtic stuff, though, and am not as good as Adrian, but if something fits, feel free to use it :). It'd be cool to see/hear/read your story when you're ready for it to be public.

@Healing Melodies It's not available anywhere, because, as I mentioned, it's awful! :-) Even if the second draft would be way improved, it would still be a bad story, just written better. So I doubt I'll ever put it out there. I just keep working on it because it means a lot to me after all this time, so I want it to at least be better than it is now. As for a theoretical KZbin/Audiobook with music: was such a thing happen - hypothetically - I would probably just compose the music for it myself... :-)

The current generation gets so caught up in what's supposed to be hip and now that we often miss the beauty hidden right under our noses, that may have existed for longer than we can imagine. Adrian, you have no idea how much your music has helped me, being as close to nature as one can be, in moving on and creating more and more details in my own fictional worlds I'm currently working on. As well as simply closing my eyes and relaxing during worse moments in my life. All I can say: THANK YOU ❤️

A refuge for those who seek it, serenity and bliss is before their eyes, hearts overwhelmed with nostalgia as if they have visited this enchanted forest from yore, an old soul desiring that ancient beauty of the perplexed trees as if they are surrounding him with a welcome of peace and solitude…

Long ago, in a forest far from here, unknown to you but not unknown to me. There once stood a proud warrior that watched over and protected all that lived in that forest. The animals, the people, they all respected him, giving him tribute for his continued protection of the forest. They say, that, if you called on him to protect the forests he would come to your aid. He would never ask for anything in return. All he would say is: "Give to the land, let it give back to you that is all l ask. I do not require anything else." before he would vanish into the forest. now adays its is a legend passed down by us. the warrior died many years ago. but we still honor his memory and give to the forest, and in return it gives back to us.

Another calming mesmerizing piece by Adrian. Long lengths of time spent away from his music helped me to understand today, just how talented he actually is. Too long a story to tell, explaining how the music here and there weaved together by Adrian during my time of depression, pulled me from it. I was in a dark time, and listening to Adrian Von Ziegler was this place of solitude where I was left alone to unravel my dilemma, without bias. Lost in a state of contemplation and reflection, a moment of clarity revealing something to me, as I listened to Adrians instrumentals. That's what the true experience is really all about when enjoying what is offered by Adrian Von Ziegler.

Another 20 minute long song added to the list of my favorite songs to listen to as I de-stress from work and let my mind wander until I'm in some fantasy world, whether it's The Rising of the Shield Hero or Lord of the Rings. Thanks for making these amazing songs Adrian. You've especially helped me as an essential worker to relax and unwind. Your beautifully crafted music has and still continues to remind me to breathe. Thank you once again. You're a genius. 🥰🤗👏

_Your slowly walking down a dark tunnel, no light in sight, you get sleepier and ever so sleepier, until you fall asleep on the ground, you can hear voices calling, no, singing beautiful melodies. You can hear the rustling of tree leaves above you as you tiredly open your eyes, it seems impossible, but large, towering green trees are above you with a narrow dirt path leading farther into the forest. You follow the path into the dense forest flora, a magical tone is playing in the air, seemingly from nowhere. The path leads on and on through the bright, colorful, and very decorative plant life, then a blinding light practically consumes you before fading off, reavealing a large meadow deep in the center of the forest, here slumbers a majestic, dazzling green floral dragon. It wakes to look at you with glowing opal eyes, _*_"Human"_*_ it says, in a calm soothing voice, _*_"It is good to know that you are alright, we have been waiting for years to finally see you."_*_ Suddenly, all your old friends, pets, and family that had previously died appear out of the forest behind the dragon, all with warm, comforting smiles on their faces, "Welcome back, we've missed you"....... then all goes white_ (Sorry if it's bad, im not to good at writing stories, this song just really made me want to write this....)
