@@daglag8811 He was using the mod luiafk which one of the things you can do is make a stack of 30 potions into a permanent buff which doesn't show in the effects area under the hotbar. At 9:59 when he opens his inventory you can see some of them favorited in the bottom.

18:53 we dont generally use what's called "true melee," being Swords and Spears. Look at the Solar Fragment weapons: Daybreak: basically a flaming javelin. Surprised it doesnt deal Throwing damage. Solar Eruption: feels like a mile-long burning chain. Just long enough to reach any of the Moon Lord's eyes from the middle. Or from a ways to the side.

Fists have subclasses, just like some other weapons, Gauntlets, and Knuckles, to kinda mirror the whole broadsword and shortsword thing.

You can actually uppercut and lowercut in ground and mid-air, doing uppercut will give you extra air-time, both also helps you keep on track with the enemy if you fight them and suddenly starting to lose track of your combo towards them You can also jump without using spacebar, just by upper-cutting (Up + Click), you can also change your direction of uppercut by how long you hold the upper/lower movement + how long you hold forward movement You can also do up-down loop combo with it as well, so many variations you could do with that punching weapon. Best paired with Terraria Overhaul, it has a dodge mechanic, which is good for that class too!

Honestly this was cool to see. I’ve never done a play through using only the fists but this was a cool way to see what that part of Weapons out can do. You know if you wanna play summoner you could try the Amulets of many minions mod. Not only does it add super unique looking minions, it adds a new kind of controllable minion, reworked versions of vanilla minions and a system that lets you set up squads of certain minions that you can direct to either attack single targets or everything. It’s a good mod and it definitely got me through Fargo’s eternity mode.

Had a fun time using this class during my stars above playthrough, really busted early game outclassing many movement accessories, even when just attacking there is a slight dash the the left click allowed you to dash in any direction. Cried during every boss fight

The frenzy heart is probably one of the most broken melee accessories I’ve ever seen, there’s a sword in the Alchemist npc mod (the full version) called the cera sumat and combining the sword the heart makes you invincible almost .

Most melee players don't use the acual blades for bosses, most of the times we use boomerangs or yoyos for pre-hardmode, then strong beam swords for hardmode except for solar eruption, which has a large range anyways and is more of a flail then a sword anyways

Should do the defender class from expanded sentries. Its a challenging yet very unique class based around all sorts of powerful unique sentry summons. (It also turns all the dungeon defender weapons and armors to its damage type)

The fist class damage spike is wild, like Phoenix Mark Fist you can get 100 Melee damage, and that with Lucky Horseshoe/Wings/Accessories that negates fall damage, it is a broken class, but it totally sucks when you have gotta fight singular big and fast enemies because of the short-range, I know because I played fist class only playthrough once, and master all the mechanics, the mod is if im not wrong WeaponOut(yes that weapon out mod)

The knuckledusters show thier true power with speed enhancement, because when you do the hit you get invincibility frames, i did a calamity playthru doing this, and ended up carrying the speed into a calamity weapon, and it was beautiful

If you've ever experienced using the tempest staff pre-plantera... It shreds through plantera so quickly you reach the second phase in about 14 or-so seconds... And you can usually defeat golem a couple of minutes after plantera.

To be fair after hard mode is unlocked melee classes dont really melee anymore they just use projectiles from like the terrablade and other swords/melee that shoots projectiles.
