DIY: Rag Doll Costume, Wig, and Makeup

Here is my rag doll halloween costume look! I got so many compliments at a party I went to, and I think It's a very cute and inexpencive costume. It doesn't take long to make the wig, and you could probably find things in your own closet to complete the look! Remember to be funky and creative with this outfit and it will all come together.

Hey I want to do this for Halloween, but I have a question. How did you get the wig to stay on? Since it is just a strip? I don't know how one would make that stay on their head

+Lornass_ I wore a wig cap and probably bobby pinned the felt strip to the wig cap. I don't remember there ever being a problem with it coming off, it also helps that the hairstyle is in pigtails!

Its just called a "wig cap"! You can pick one up at the halloween store, or anywhere you can buy wigs. Its not absolutely necessary, but it helps!

Can the wig be done with normal fabric, or just felt?

+Kat Cute normal fabric should be fine, felt is cheaper and has a bit more of a texture that may not slip off as easy as regular fabric would!

I would recommend it because it keeps your hair in place and holds the wig on better. They're so cheap! I think I got mine at a beauty supply store for like 2 bucks :)
