I've seen extendable rollers for deck painting/staining. It would certainly be easier on the back and knees for future touch up staining as the hard work is done already. And yes, it's beautiful!

Front porch floor stain looks very nice Abby. Can't believe how much last year floor wood darken up from the new boards. Lot of sanding I see but I'm glad you had help from Jay & Seth. All of you did a great job, sure it feels wonderful to knock this off your to due list.

Love the color! Safety tip: if the stain is oil based you probably should toss the used rags in a bucket of water.

To prevent back strain its a good idea to use a handle extension on the paint roller when coloring floors and decks. By the way what color do have planned for the siding of the house ? It will be exciting to see.

It’s a good color. You said you wanted it a little lighter than the doors, and it is. It’s not as drastically lighter as the window trim inside, so it looks very cohesive. You and Jay are super hard workers!
