Every time you do sidewalks like these I just want to reach through the screen and shake you! Folks have told you, including me, to get a pick ax to break up the solid sod on sidewalks! The reason you have such a hard time using just a shovel is because when grass grows on sidewalks, their root systems stick to the concrete. You would be so much better off breaking it up with a pick ax first then scooping it up with the shovel. I know it may seem like you're doing double the work but when you do both, it takes much less force to shovel it after being broken up. Please try it at least once, it makes a hell of a difference. especially to the strain it puts on your back!

Oh, forgot..yes, do the yard next door. It would help everything look so much better. I like seeing your videos on a weekly basis! You do a super job!
