My first shinies were a caterpie and ponyta in Fire Red. Wound up trading it with my cousin for Ruby since I didn't know shinies were a thing then and had finished the game. Few years after that my sis gave me her Fire Red cartridge since she didn't like playing Pokémon anymore (don't ask me why). The newest game I have is White, but I've recently started shiny hunting in Fire Red. I've at the very least redeemed the caterpie by finding a shiny metapod, but I still have to make up for the ponyta. :S

actually, the chains do matter. Up until 70, the odds of finding a a shiny are the same as randomly encountering it. But after 70, you get 3 extra rolls until 255. Then your chain resets.

Angel R that's why we have the phrase "bad habbits" as they are not all good. I'm just a consumer reviewing the sellers product. telling me I have no say because it's not my channel is like saying you can't review a restaurant unless you own it lol. His product is terrible and if he wants to keep coasting through his 20s on ad revenue then that's his choice but as a consumer I have every right to rate his product or he can make the video private. I like what Adrive does and he's one of the only top players not cheating and all credit to him for that. I just think he can improve his videos by going outside the current pop culture trends rather than follow them. Otherwise we might just see tons of keks and pepe on this channel soon and I'm not down for that.
