Hi, a very helpful video. Is there a similar process for uploading the conversion GLCIDs into Google Analytics? So you can drill down further into the data regarding where the conversions are coming from.

Hi John. Been taking many of your Adskill courses. When you say CRM to capture GCLID - do you mean Google Analytics?

Is there anyway we can reverse lookup with GCLID? So I can track which keyword / ad group a certain GCLID came from?

Thank you for the nice presentation. But a question. When the GCLID are are uploaded at once for a period of 10days and they are around 247 uploaded of them 32 are successful and valid and the rest are not successful or dead or invalid. Is there any explanation?? The gclids are not too old

When you say your campaigns are off overnight, does that mean you bid them down by 90% or do you turn them off completely? I've been told that turning them off completely causes you to continually pay the new campaign "google tax" over and over again.

This was awesome John! Quick question...If I am running a lot of Lead campaigns that maximize conversions, does this allow for the AI to find people likely to convert a lot better than relying on the site tags and standard conversion tracking? Is the data accuracy going to provide a significant amount of juice to Google? Great info as always!

I haven't had a lot of success with maximize conversions in the Ecomm space so I can't comment on this confidently at this point. That being said, the better data you feed back to Google, the better it will be able to optimize for you.

Super helpful video, thanks for the effort in posting John! Question: How could this be modified to report both a primary and a secondary conversion against the same GCLID? I am trying to uncover additional product-level information in Google Ads. Example Scenario: A click intended to sell product X actually ends up converting products X and Y. It would be valuable to understand that X was purchased, but also that product Y was the additional upsold product (particularly its value). In the long run I could begin to get a better idea of whether certain keywords are more likely to receive addon purchases. A potential solution I was thinking of was to define multiple types conversions and then simply create multiple line items in the conversion template for the same GCLID. Example Solution: I define multiple types of conversions in Google Ads - "Primary conversion", "Secondary conversion", "Tertiary conversion" etc. and map out each product sold to its intended conversion name at the transaction level. If 2 items were purchased in the transaction, within the spreadsheet I therefore create 2 line items for the GCLID mapping out to their respective conversion names. Thoughts?
