I'm fairly new to making music(around three years), but whenever I mix my songs they come out quieter than I would like, but if I put it any louder the output peaks. So what would you suggest I do to make it a little louder, but not have it peaking?

Make sure your tracks are not peaking pre fader.

put a limiter on your máster track so it never peaks. Make sure that it isn't too crushed or overcompressed. Also make sure the release setting is right so it doesn't sound like it's overcompressed
