Great tutorial sir. One question, what do i do if i continuosuly get the Wifi fault? My wifi is excellecnt and i even got a wifi extender just incase but my panel randomly goes into the Wifi fault beeping.

Go to Advance and do a system reboot. Now follow the WiFi instructions again, it should work now.

Unfortunatly, you can only lower the volume on key presses and not completely silence the touch beeps.

I never got a wall transformer. And mine keeps showing WiFi fault even though nothing is wrong with my internet. Started last night. I’ve rebooted it and everything

Im sorry about your issue. If you have not, try to reconnect to your wifi and run a comms test. Hope that works for you!

I have a black screen. I can arm and disarm from my phone but the screen is black. I did not get a warning about a low battery, so not sure If that is it.

@@MrMindovermatter2012 It has been so long, I forgot. I called ADT and I think they could see it was offline. It was not the battery. What they told me to do was simple but I don't remember what they told me. Just call your Security company and they should be able to see the issue. Damn I don't know why can't remember what they told me to do. must be the 5 hours of sleep I got. lol

I changed the battery but the Low Battery message is still up

Hi Josh You'll want to go into Tools, Advanced, and then System reboot. If it doesn't clear, the new battery could be bad, or the keypad has a problem.

Hi. Thank you! Please help with this issue...little background first, please bare with me...not to sound dramatic, but I had a man crawl through my dog door in the middle of the night, two yrs ago this past 2/27 & assault me and hold me hostage. It was literally a nightmare. He's now in prison. Because of this, my fiance (ex-fiance) flew out to AZ that day from Ontario Canada, where he resides, to help me and in doing so not only install a smaller dog door (duh) but also sign me up with ADT's cameras and security system...all the bells & whistles. He paid for all of it - over $1,000!! It was like a mini prison. He also agreed to pay for the monthly service for one yr (hoping I'd finally move to Canada within that time...hence, being my ex). I digress...squirrel! Well, it didn't take me long to realize how much I absolutely dispise ADT on so many levels, but I will name just one for the purpose of this tale. Whenever I would forget to turn off the system prior to opening my front or back door ADT would immediately contact the police. Even though I immediately hit the appropriate buttons telling them no need (can't remember what the button is for that). Then, the police would unbeknownst to me show up TWO HOURS LATER (Yes, you heard right, what's the friggin point???) & I would once again tell them that I did not request or approve of them coming out. But, that didn't seem to matter to the Phx Police. I would ultimately receive a bill in the mail for $100. for their "time". 😠 I would then call ADT to say "What the hell??!!" after waiting on hold for 30 min every single time I called them. So, I finally smartened up and canceled my plan. But because ADT is such a caring, wonderful company (sarcasm) and could no longer make $$$ off my system they still one yr later try to mess with my panel so I have no choice but to sign back up. Not only did I get junk mail every single week for one yr asking me to sign back up, but I can NOT use the cameras my ex paid for in full!!! I've managed to still use my system at night to alert me if someone breaks in. It's the only thing I can use (without ADT monitoring...no more false alarms with police that show up two hrs ltr...I'll just call them myself, thank you very much). So, I keep getting all these annoying issues beeping on my panel that are not "real issues" It's just ADT trying to annoy me enough to finally sign back up. I did manage to get one kind employee that was working the graveyard shift to at least tell me how to turn down the volume on panel so it doesn't annoy the hell out of me. But, i can still hear it. Grrrrrrrr. The current issues are "WiFi Fault" & "Cellular Failure" blinking back and forth continuously. Which I just did everything you said to do, and after the last step of the Comm. Test it says "Cellular: Fail Broadband: Passed". My normal recourse these past couple months to get the panel to allow me to set the alarm at night is to press system reboot or system shutdown. I never had to do this Every night until recently. I don't understand why this is happening as it clearly shows my wifi is working. Besides, the only plausible reason, which is ADT are money sucking demons. Here comes the actual question...what can I do to stop this madness while having the capability of using this equipment that is 100% paid for and yet I'm unable to use (very expensive cameras as well that are now useless) simply because I refuse to give ADT a dime for a service that is horrible?? Unfortunately, the only options are to either get the service back or remove the panel itself. The panel constantly pings nearby cell towers for active service, and if you do not have service, it'll both show 'wifi fault' and 'cellular failure' regardless if wifi is connected.
