OMG, thank you. I have had the hard surface paper for awhile now and just had not tried it out. Today I have a stainless project to do and I will be making the transfer on my white toner now. YAY!!!

How were you planning on doing it originally? White toner just makes it easier. I think I might get a plate press so I can do the center of plates.

@@adubbproductions I was going back and forth between epoxy with waterslide or sublimation. But White Toner gives me more options for the images. You have been the only content creator that is really clear on white toner uses. I need more education on rasterization. Info is very limited.

Nice!!! I can hardly wait to get my WT printer. Uninet IC 560 is the way I'm going. Thanks for sharing!

My pleasure. Thanks for watching and congratulations.

Well done Allan! WT prints are very versatile because not only are you not limited to sublimation coated surfaces, you are not limited to LIGHT substrates. You could have done the same on a dark mug or even a clear one (like glass), both not possibilities with sublimation. Note that you can always remove the image using acetone, clean it with alcohol, and do it again! Baking adds additional durability (don't bake the plastic parts).

Thank you for the amazing tips. I’m gonna try all of them. I can’t wait to do more. This is very exciting stuff. Thank you @jdovi.

I am gonna try to see. I would imagine all you have to do is turn and press again. I’m gonna try and report back with a video.

I have the Ricoma Luminaris 200 with the transfer paper but it doesn't say hard substrates, do you think it would press on a mug? I'm not really digging the printer 😕
@adubbproductions11 ай бұрын
No. You have to get hard surface transfer paper. It will not work with regular a to b paper. Watch some rasterization videos and get some hard surface transfer paper. When you are doing regular prints for shirts. Yu should try to rasterize the image. Even though it works for a lot of projects it might not be ideal for some. I think of white timers as the Swiss Army knife. Always there and ready to cook when you need it.

I have the Ricoma 200 as well. I have the hard surface paper and will try it today. I will let you know how it comes out.
