Hello Karen, taking a break from colouring my mushroom houses and watching this video. These are new pencils to me, although I've got other Derwent pencils, they look really lovely to use and glide on the page. The purple shades are gorgeous. So enjoying watching this as it's a dull dreach day in the Highlands of Scotland, and watching this is cheering me up 💕

Karen these pencils just glide over the paper, and the pigment lay down is so rich! I love the colors you are using, wow are they gorgeous!! Bye for now, before I fall asleep and erase this again for the 3rd time lol. 💖💖

Love it. The Derwents look great and a lot softer than the Derwent Artists. Cant wait for your next Inktense video. Ive got Inktense and still getting used to them.

Thank you for answering my question regarding Luminos. You have a well rounded answer. Yes, Caran D"ache did come out with a portrait set and four more separate colours. Apparently get rave reviews. Back to Lightfast, I so love the those purples! Very, very pretty. 👯

They are lovely in your hands. I have a few I've bought open stock, I find them greasy somehow, they are not a favourite of mine, but I'm coming to the conclusion I'm a harder pencil girl and have taken delivery this morning of the full set of Pablo pencils. I have willpower. They are staying under the bed until Christmas! but I know I love them from the 18 set I'm using now. I have a question; why did you use the Prisma white and not the Lightfast white? The Prisma is thick and cloudy, it would be nice to see the Lightfast option. You do like dark purples, they are very nice.

Thank you Sue, on the bottom half of the Butterfly I will use the lightfast white, it is by habit that I used the prismacolor white. It is always on my desk next to the prismcolor black...lol

Lumis have a great selection of skin tones, this set does not. This set has beautiful color selection and deep tones, more than the Lumis. Depends on what you like to color.
