Hi there, this is the first time I have seen one of your videos. Just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed it. Your choice of colors was spot on! I also enjoyed that you did not treat each tiny spot as a separate area to be colored. Sometimes a page is too intimidating with so many tiny spaces. I notice you don’t use a colorless blender or white. Your coloring is very pretty!( wish we had 70 tempts! We are stuck in 40 and 50😎

Thank you Lori, I really don't have a fav they all work differently depending on the paper in the coloring books and what I am coloring.

Beautiful coloring. Do you prefer the Schpirer Farben pencils or the Southsun Pencils?

Ohhhh boy, I really like both sets, the Southsun are oil based and come in a 160 set the Schpirerr Farben are oil based and come in a 96 set. Both lay down smooth and a joy to color with, I am still too new to these sets to say if one is better.

ZucchiniKitty ...Karen, lol...I have the Gaunghui Hero set and the 72 set of the S.F. I know that most people aren’t into multiple layers, like I am....but....if one is.....personally, I have been able to get up to 9 layers with the G.H., IF I really work at it, where as the S.F’s are a lot like the F.C. Poly’s in that you can layer and layer with them....I enjoy both sets, but for different reasons....I like the G.H. if working especially with createspace/Amazon paper and then blending with the Caran d’Ache blender (thank you again....the createspace paper was the #1 reason why I was wondering about that blender...and have discovered that I CAN I use the Prismas on createspace paper if I use the a Caran d’Ache blender...😊) but, if I really want to layer, it’s going to be either F.C. Poly’s, S.F.’s or Prisma Premiers. The biggest problem I have with the G.H. is for some reason, I tend to lose my shadows....where as I don’t with any of the other pencil brands. So, I need to “play” and see if I can get those shadows back using one of the other oil sets.

Beautiful Karen,looks stunning.....what is the difference between the destress ink n the destress oxide?Im a little confused about the difference 💖💖💖

Easiest way to explain is Distress ink is transparent, Oxide is opaque Both react to water but in different ways... for coloring books the ink will not cover up the black lines or much of you coloring. Oxide could... always test on a back page to see how they work
