Try adding alittle water to paint . Twuril tip of brush in watered down paint. Practice making thinner lines on paper. Liner brush works best to do this.

For the stars maybe you could use a toothpick to pull out the wet paint from the middle. Love your videos, and I learn so much. TFS!

I really like that effect with the white paint ( stars) I'm going to have to try that. 😁 I totally agree the background really starting popping when you added more of the gelato product.

Yes! In the beginning, I didn't want to lay too much down. But, it makes a huge huge difference. Then I decided to get bravery with the brighter colors and WOW!

Hey Pam! Thank you for the video! I really liked the effect you achieved with your Hannah Lynne girl. She looks pretty and bright but the color looks a little muted at the same time if that makes sense. I can tell the Gelatos are creamy. Working on the create space paper is a challenge for just about any background. You did a good job. The more you use them you will learn how they behave for sure. 😁

Hi Pam, have you tried putting them on a palette and then picking them up with a stiff brush? Karen Valentine does that a lot in her videos and the results are always stunning.

I sealed them. I usually seal any background that I do that isn't with colored pencils.

I need to order these! I bought some Kingsart gel sticks which are half the cost, but I couldn’t get the colors to blend like you did with the gelatos.

I think sometimes it does really make a difference to buy the higher end stuff. Same with pencils and the reason why I only purchase a select few of the more budget-friendly pencils. The gelatos are fantastic though and I'm so glad I was finally able to get some. I held off for so long.
