Vision therapy isn’t just for children. Whether you are struggling with a lifelong vision dysfunction like Strabismus (crossed eye) or if you acquired a vision problem, we have very successful outcomes with older patients. Vision therapy can actually be more effective for adult patients as older patients are typically more motivated in therapy, especially once they start seeing the results with their own eyes!
In this Success Story, Hanah explains how she found Wow Vision Therapy and life after Vision Therapy!

Hi, I can tell you from experience that they tend to hype this up a lot. I did a course of VT (32 sessions over about a year), and yes I can pull them in some times, but its not perfect like she says in the video. I have exotropia and sometimes when I pull them in I do get it in the correct spot but that is at best 50% of the time. The other 50% i give myself esotropia. What Im trying to say is VT may help slightly, I mean I feel better that I have it in the right spot sometimes but VT is also quite pricey like $6500 for those 32 sessions and 4 doc visits. And hey if her eyes were so perfect why did they have her talk from a side angle?

its almost amazing what can be fixed(there still permanent maladies) in todays medical world. Your eyes are your signature facial feature. nose, teeth, hair, hearing. when youre eyes are off, it takes serious work as an adult. hopefully in time, its an easier fix.

Wow, awesome story and congrats to Hannah! Thank you so much for sharing her story as I am going through the same thing. I'm a 22 year old college student who is saving up for vision therapy after my one and only surgery back in 2016 did not result in much improvement. Her story resonates with me so much, especially in regards to the emotional aspect and the toll it takes on your self confidence. Although I only see 2D, my vision and depth perception has always been fine and I have excelled at sports but I am so excited to see what seeing in 3D looks like. Humans are supposed to have binocular 3D vision! I am curious to know if Hannah underwent strabismus surgery prior to starting vision therapy; in the picture at 0:22, it appears she had hypertropia and maybe some slight exotropia. Nevertheless, vision therapy clearly worked for her and I'm so happy that it did! Strabismus surgery does not fix the underlying fundamental issue which is a disconnect between the brain and eyes. It is so rare that I read about a patient whose eyes stay straight after going under the knife. Vision therapy makes so much intuitive sense compared to surgery. By teaching the eyes to actually work together and team up, your brain can form new visual pathways. All surgery does is loosen or tighten muscles. It does not tell your brain to stop being so tense or loose with those muscles!

hmmm??? opthalmologist when i was a kid they say, my eye problem is in born(from birth) myopia to extreme myopia, and ever since cross eye vision often occurs, and now I'm 38 y/o strabismus on my left eye is in very bad condition, i can still read on my right eye at extremely cse dstance, like the paper is sticking to my face but depends on the size of the text, i stopped relying on refraction eyeglasses and contact lenses coz it gives me headaches and dizziness, considered near blind state and needs strabismus surgery plus lens implant, heck we cannot pay for the expenses, there are 3 of us siblings in this condition all in-born. CAN NATURAL THERAPY STILL FIX THIS OR THE RISKY SURGERY THAT MAY CAUSE ME PERMANENT BLINDNESS??! PLS HELP

This is quite confusing for me. I clearly saw the eyes of a baby, a child, a teen but no clear eye pictures of you as an adult before you started the therapy and also no pictures of your progress till the time the video was made. It is quite confusing. If that was your journey, there are pertinent questions and concerns you may have experienced and found the answers which those of us that still have strabismus would like to know more about.please and not just saying that the therapy is the answer.
