I just watched what had to be the best interview, ever. I hear women all the time say, you want women to like you make them laugh. This may not be true, but I think Angela loves Whitney, and the proof that it's reciprocal from Whit, is towards the end, Whit tried to do/say things that would shake Angela, and give her an out. But she never takes it. Whitney's I know a lot/I'm crazy, is never put down by Angela, and Angela smooth and calming demeanor shines thru. This was like watching a dance were two people got intellectually closer, as they danced. I would hope Whitney would have Ange on her roast, or at least there to watch her shine. Wether I agree with the lifestyle or opinions I feel that listening to all experiences is important. That being said, I don't agree that things like prom or dances are a to blame. I thinkl societal pressures and norms are pressed upon all people but it is the parent's job to inform their kids and connect with them to build trust. Just a thought

It's actually really sad how much damage religious shame in relation to sexuality can do. Sex is something most humans are naturally curious about and so many people are made to feel less than for a normal human experience. Repression almost always ends up in an overcorrection when you can no longer repress what needs to be expressed. We see that with emotions and anyone who has heard of the catholic schoolgirl trope understands that. Coming from someone who was raised catholic, became hypersexual and was shamed for it.
