Scaled combo refers that the starter of a combo gives "Scaled" Scaling. In a combo, the more you progress, the more hits you do, the less damage moves do, right? That's what Scaling is. *how* big and fast the damage reduction is depends on with what move you started the combo with. If you started the move with something like a Medium attack (5M or 2M), that combo will have "medium scaling" Aka, the one with the lowest and slowest damage reduction. If your combo starts with a Light, or a jumping attack, it will be a "Scaled combo" As it's damage reduction will be higher than the "Medium Starter" combo. Lastly, the "6M" or "DP" reversal. these are when a combo starts with a Forward medium, the "Universal overhead". These scale pretty badly, usually leaving you with barely any damage.

Good tip for anyone having trouble landing corner loops. After you jHL, make sure you are pressing up DIAGONAL not just up, I kept making that mistake. I usually just press up for corner but to land that following L, you need to make sure you’re as close as possible to the opponent

If anyone is having trouble with 5H SD air dash j.M 3H, you can make it much more consistent by cancelling into j.H after j.M reducing landing recovery. It can be tricky but very useful, it works for most characters.

For Adult Gohan he definitely belongs on Mid. Check the professional players I recommend at the end and see how they run them, but usually anyone can be anywhere as long as you have a solid anchor.

The exact kinda guide I was looking for. The only things really holding me back are I can’t super jump install in combos and getting the 236M[4] j2H into 214L I just can’t seem to get, and I’ve been trying for hours! Once I get those two down I feel like the sky’s the limit.

I'm surprised you didn't show the medium version of gohan machine gun. You can actually continue his combos by jumping twords someone and used Gohan machine gun M in mid air you should be able to land back on the ground and continue doing a combo just like the j236H confirm corner in 8:00 I used it all the time.

I’m having serious trouble with the combo at 2:56 every time that I do jump light medium light heavy special it wiffs and the ai just recovers not letting me finish the rest of the combo... I’m playing on PlayStation 4

You either got the timestamp or annotation wrong, there is no LMLHS anywhere. You mean the Light Medium Light Down+Heavy?

@@TinyTorgue so the combo is 5MM > 3H > JMLL2H > SD > JLML2H > jcLLL I can complete everything up until the last part “jclll” so when I do the last down heavy I don’t get that extra jump and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong

@@BreedDaDon You want to be jumping diagonally up when the 2H is connecting, you can kind of buffer the input during the end of the 2H animation. Immediately after inputting the jump you mash Light, and it should complete the combo.
