(Adult Swim Bumps) Saturday, January 8, 2005 Bump Compilation

This night was the introduction of then new bumps for Saturday nights, replacing the still image Tokyo bumps that were introduced in July 2004. I'd say these are among some of the most iconic bumps that Adult Swim has ever used back in the day. These are mainly animated scroll style bumps for the anime shows, and still images featuring characters from the comedy shows. These ACTN bumps lasted until May 2005 when they were replaced with a different set of animated bumps that were used until as late as 2010 in some cases. The Futurama Bumps held out a little longer but the Venture Bros bumps are the rarest and have only lasted a month, they weren't even anywhere online until a few months ago (which explains the lower quality on those compared to the others as they were sourced from the only available source online).

I just noticed that recently a lot of adult swim bump uploads were getting muted. I looked at a few uploads from over a decade ago (from different users) and there isn’t any sound. Even some anime promos were muted. The copyright issues are getting worse now.

@@bumparchivebit of an update, I did watch a video that wasn’t adult swim related and it was also from 10+ years ago and muted. I think this problem just applies with any old KZbin video, but a lot of the ones I saw were adult swim bumps.
