Years ago, tons of channels had their own unique bumpers and things like that, until they all got taken over by the same few massive corporations. Now they're all exactly the same. Channels used to have their own unique identity, but not anymore. Adult Swim is the only one that still stands out and does unique stuff. That's what makes them so special.

One thing that kinda goes hand in hand with adult swim bumpers are the Toonami bumpers they show and even before Adult Swim was even made. Its something so grabbing that I can't really put in words. It's like an amv before amvs or edits before edits. Something really worth checking out.

Man I wish I could go back to the 2000s not just adult swim but Cartoon Network boomerang and Disney channel and most of all funimation channel which took heavy inspiration for its bumps from adult swim (definitely think you should do a video on funimation a bumps next ) all there bumps are so nostalgic and we’re so much better back then hell adult swim is prob the only one out of the ones I listed that still make amazing bumps that give you that nostalgia vibe even toonnami has fell off to making shorter quick simplified bumps but o don’t blame them. Tv is dying and all the amazing media is going with it. And unfortunately bumps are one of the few things that doesn’t get as much preservation unless you’re talking Cartoon Network the bumps for CN were preserved so well doesn’t matter how old but that’s a staple of the channel so it had to be. But channels like the funimation channel is not one of those channels it’s hard to find bumps for funimation even tho KZbin has some here and there that’s about it as far as I could find .
