The inspiration for the cartoon really speaks to me. Too many adult cartoons are needlessly cynical and the jokes are so forced, to the point it feels like they're talking down to the audience or trying to remind them they made a joke. And with the happiness thing, it also doesn't coddle the audience as if they're in preschool. It's just chaos to make you laugh with stuff in it that leaves you feeling better at the end.
