I love the way the Asian girl reacts. She seems so genuinely excited, happy, and hyped when playing. You could really see the joy of first exposure to Sonic. Mania is a GREAT first foot in the door, it's probably one of the best Sonic games of all time.

I honestly suck at 2D Platformers but Mania is really beginner friendly with a Character like Tails (I learned to love this character. So cute and cool) and the option to turn of the time limit. I had a great time with that game.

Colors* Unleashed did a good job setting the gameplay for 3D Sonic, except it had a lot of flaws concerning the Werehog Colors refined that formula and made it better Generations refined it yet again and perfected it Lost World then, tried to go back to the Adventure days and did a good job imo And now Forces looks like its going to have the Unleashed gameplay, combined with Heroes and Mania Sonic has been back to life since a while ago my dude

As a Sonic fan, I am happy to say that this is the reason I think Sonic Mania is the best Sonic game in years. Because it is accessible to both new and old comers to the series. This is something no Sonic fan I have talked with really sees when it comes to this game. The most alienating part of the game was welcomed by most of these players.

PTony Oliver I own the Xbox One version, actually. XD There is no difference between versions, from what I have heard, so that is really a matter of console preference. Would you be able to play on the go with the Switch? I have no experience with the Switch. I have heard a couple of really cool things about it.

SeraphiiGaming Generations was released 5 years ago, so yes. I dare say years since a good Sonic game. :P Even so, I believe Mania to be a little bit more accessible than a couple of those games. Many of those guys were getting used to how fast Sonic was. Going through something in the style of Modern Sonic's boost gameplay? I... I would love to see how they do, actually... >.> But I do worry that Generations' style of gameplay (Specifically Modern) leans on the fans a little bit. I love that game, but I don't know how the average person will like Generations. (I would love to see if they can pull off a SA1 based game again, though.)
