Fat chance would certainly be worth having on the team. Producing random objects could yield significant results, not all the time of course. If out of 100 tries he produces 1 gold bar and 99 insignificant objects he's still a tremendous net gain. I'd get an incinerator and some entertainment stuff for him and have that be his office. He produces objects and incinerates the crap, but keeps the useful stuff. He would likely be a significant economic asset if nothing else. Passing on fat chance would be a mistake.
