Joe Estevez is really good at pretending to be himself, and so can do it in situations he knows are not real, convincingly. Clearly, he was not expected to stand out growing up, had to blend into the family background. So he gets his needs for attention met through acting, but he pretty much plays one character well. The Joe Estevez his parents demanded he be - not the real Joe Estevez.

According to the map he only missed Central Park by about 600 miles. And the helicopter the President ordered looks suspiciously like a motorcycle that's slower than a dude casually riding a bicycle. What the hell was that Tim? First, you take Gregg's voice without permission. He forgave you for that, but now in the credits, you don't even tell us who he played or give him a proper length of time for his character? This "miniseries" gets 1 bag of popcorn and I'll give Gregg an Oscar, cause even though he didn't even play a part HIMSELF, he acted twice as good as you Tim.
@UltimaForsan10110 жыл бұрын
smdh @ you Gregg fanboys...ok first Tim owns everything his guests do and say on OCATC...PLEASE just read the Freedom of Information Act, it's all in there. Second Gregg should be thanking his lucky (zero) stars that Tim allowed him to be part of cinematic/miniseries history...Tim did what was BEST for OCATC and what was BEST for HIMSELF. He can sleep at night, I wonder if you Gregg fanboys can? Ten bags of popcorn for Decker and ten bags of popcorn for the U.S. American Constitution.
@ShaxOfThirtyLegions10 жыл бұрын
It was unethical and Tim can get sued. Gregg only forgave him cause of the support from fans and maybe in the future Gregg and Tim can go back to being friends again. The ball is in Tim's corner, but he's such an arrogant control freak that he's gonna keep making the show about him and his needs INSTEAD of the movies. Gregg has tons of talent and movie expertise, unlike Tim, who didn't even watch "Let's Be Cops". How freakin unprofessional is it to review a movie that you didn't even bother to go see, and Tim can't use that "blind" excuse anymore.
@MrBrassBalls10 жыл бұрын
ShaxOfThirtyLegions Hey, honesty is a virtue. At least he told it like it was, that he did not watch it and so he didn't rate it because not only would that be misleading for the fans, it'd be unethical as a reviewer. I bet Gregg never watches anything, the way he keeps giving stuff five bags of popcorn. Skyfall was a four bagger at best. It really does bring to mind a famous quote by none other than Mr. Washington; "I can't lie". Tim certainly embodies all that Washington stood for.
@ShaxOfThirtyLegions10 жыл бұрын
But Tim does lie and is deceptive. He obviously did the interview behind the green screen to get footage for Decker, that was very deceptive. He didn't watch "Let's Be Cops", but it's his obligation to the fans and the show to have some knowledge of the film. It would be similar to me being a food critic and talking about a dish that I never tasted before, it just looks incompetent and bad. The Bond movies are very well-made and action-packed. I don't know what Tim's problem is with Bond, but it certainly does not mean that Bond is a "bad" movie series.
@MrBrassBalls10 жыл бұрын
ShaxOfThirtyLegions Bond might've been good back in the 70s, but the franchise has failed to evolve and update itself to stay relevant, hence why we needed new blood to step up, such as Jack Reacher. Gregg not understanding this makes him look pretty inept and out of touch with modern moviemaking sensibilities. And it is not at all like that because Tim declined to discuss the film. It would have been preferable if he had seen it so we could get his opinion on it, but he never lied. Same goes for the Decker situation, the footage he recorded was obviously for a legit behind-the-scenes segment that has yet to finish post-production. If Tim decided to use some of that footage in a side-project, I don't see what the big deal is Or would you have preferred if he made Gregg take time out of his world-record attempt to record lines that, for all effects and purposes, was already recorded? That's not being deceitful, that's being smart and considerate of other people's time and is a hallmark of a great director
