@@frogdropkicker805 beavis and butthead were already doing that, south park just has much more complex writing, but superjail is on farther dimension of thinking, it's more trascendental especially in terms of art (the plots are usually very good too), i mean just look at the intros and the finales, especially in season 1 which is the best season, they're just so trippy and intense, and also the creator christy karacas is a musician, he is a guitarist for this awesome band cheeseburger so he knows a lot about sounds and music which helps with the music and the sound effects that happen during each episode, they wrote and performed the intro song which is already super cool to begin with

What i got from it is.... In America at least, we care so much about making sure criminals get punished even if its by extreme measures.... like.......say a criminal steals a car stereo worth...idk 200dollars, he gets caught sent to jail, and stays there for a few months....but the thing is, it costs 50dollars to keep a prisoner in prison for 1 day, and thats coming out of tax payers money.... Wouldn't it make more sense to just let him go...or fine him? instead of sending him to jail... Another thing you can get from it is...that American Prisons are getting so overcrowded...that sending them to a SuperJail where they have a very high chance of being killed may be the only way to deal with them.... Or it could just be a entertaining show about seeing people die in comedic ways....and you don't feel bad because they are criminals.... Take your pick any answer is fine :)
