Drumclog is a great place iv been many times!, never tried the trossachs before but will need to give it a go, I have a ktm 790 adventure and I'm from Glasgow we should hit a trail sometime!

There's off road experience days where you rent an endure bike and they take you through some training

Have you ever come across park rangers in Trossachs National Park? as I am quite sure that at every entry point to forest (if barrier is not present) there is a sign "No unauthorized vehicles beyond this point". Do they chase you or just wave and do their thing? If I ride in forests in Scotland I tend to go further north to more remote areas with less people as I want to avoid any problems. Loch Rannoch is for that. I need to try Trossachs anyway :).

I just be sensible with it to be honest likes of the 3 lochs drive etc there is trails up there that will most likely never see people or vehicles again untill felling so it's a case by case decision

You need to be careful suggesting you can ride anywhere in the Trossachs on your bike. You can’t legally do so apart from on the 3 Lochs drive which you have to pay for and there is a speed limit of 10mph. Might well get away with it but equally could be reported or chased off the land.

The bing isn't legal however once your in it the police will not bother you, its the muppets that hand around on the roads at the entry points that spoil it for us showing off up and down the roads on non road legal bikes, I've never had an issue on the actual bing though great place to ride 👍
