Advance problem in HASSELBLAD A 12 film magasin______motion lapse film

This Hasselblad A 12 film magasin, had some advance problem in the gear's and need a few drop's of lighter fluid, and some drop's of "Super-Lube" and very thin oil.
I didn't have so much time when I made this film, so I make one more, with my HD camera in normal speed. (This one was a little too fast, and too short).

Thanks for this, i watched it and noticed how the cover comes off, and how the mechanism works to stop at frame 1. This was my problem and seeing you manipulate that specific part and noticing mine was slightly bent because the bridge was not tightened properly made my day. thanks!!!

Hi Mike, thanks for your detailed videos. I have a Hasselblad 500cm and I need to adjust the back shutter flaps, the upper flap is not synchronizing with the lower one. I searched about this problem and I found that it is a common one, and I was hoping that you can be the saviour with one of your great videos 😊 . Thanks.

Hi! Thank you for making this video. I just made a pretty good deal for an 500c/m with two a12 backs, it has only shot about 40 rolls since new (yay!). When winding the two backs, I can sometimes wind past the numbers, it doesn't stay on the first frame as it should. Guessing this is because the mechanisms haven't been moving very much, got a few ideas that might help me in this video! Also, do you talk during this video when in normal speed? If so, is it possible to find the original somewhere?

Kenneth, you made my day! I got my A12 back working again. Does work with the old ones from the 500C as well? I couldn‘t find the screws to open it ...

Hi Mike, do you happen to know the thread size of hasselblad screws, in particular the ones that attach the tripod foot to the body of the 500 series cameras? I want to mount an arca swiss plate in place of the hasselblad plate but will need longer screws of the same thread size to do so.

I have an A12 bought with camera new in 2002 and an A16 back secondhand and they both have the black plastic 'darkslide holder' attached which means I cannot lift off the side plate -- can you advise how to remove the black darkslide holder please?

I have only made this film about the film magazine, but maybe I should make another more detailed film about it. If you will try to work with it, you should be very carefull about the gear wheel, take a look at 3:23 in the film, the most upper gear wheel, inside there is a wounded spring that will pop out if you lifting up the gear wheel. One of the problems with the magazine is with the BIG gear wheels, they often get stuck but can be set in motion again if you use 2-3 drop of lighter fluid and make some movement, and then add 1-2 drop of sewing machine oil. Hi Mike, I also have an A12 back with a winder that refuses to go forward. I've opened it up and nothing looks obviously wrong. Looks brand new inside! No shredded gears or foreign objects. In your video, i could not figure exactly which part was stopping the winder from advancing. Was it the part at 2:10? Thanks again for your videos!

+Marcus Webslinger (Let's Rig) Well Marcus, it was the part at 2:10 in the film that makes the problem because it was stuck. A few drop's of Lighter Fluid and some movement, and maybe one small drop of thin sewing machine oil. Cheers Kenneth

Well, I don't know where to buy the tools for repair Hasselblad magazine. The tools I use is dentist tools I buy from my dentist. I have never seen the real Hasselblad tools.

Mike, very nice video. I think I have a simple problem with my 500 cm. I cannot turn my film roller key on my magazine. I cannot remove it to lift it out to add another roll of film.

Hi Rodrigo, of the film magasin is locked when sit on the house, you can try putting in the darkslide and the try to release the magazine from the house. Then it should be possible to open the magasin. It should also be possible to cock the shutter on the body, and hit the shutter button, just to see that the body actually works proper.
