Cross+1 is definitely the secret for sub 8 imo, that combined with working on more precise turning has helped me get a lot more low 7 and high 6 averages lately

@@the6sides cross and turning, my f2l solutions are good but my turning destroy everything, idk how to be good at turning😕

Also my cross is really slow but it's always under 8 moves, Also i have lot of lock ups, i can lookahead but i can't excicute it well

@@CubiiVerse0422 sometimes the most move efficient cross isn't the fastest, if there's a solution that one or two moves longer but a lot easier to fingertrick then that is what's optimal. It's important that your f2l solutions also are always optimized for fingertrick. If your solutions are hard to execute you'll never turn quickly. One of my most recent videos goes in depth on F move fingertricks which I think are the most important ones to learn for turning faster in f2l, and it's what separates the world class from the rest of us. But most of the time the best way to get faster at turning is to slow down for a few weeks and focus on being super precise, then speed up. You might also want to play around with your cube setup
