Just keep this in mind guys but I think the story mode ai will be a lot different than these online bot ai. I don’t think we have any of the intricacies of the new ai on the online invasion mode tbh. Like they weren’t checking their corners slowly like the teaser for ai IW showed so that tells me these bots are different, tailored for online play.

Given how unimpressive every other moment was, I´m guessing that guy simply run into his friend and had some weird reactions. The actually realistic thing to do would have been for him to stop behind his friend, tap his shoulder, and then while his friend took cover at the corner and knelt, the new arrival could remain standing up, and using the corner as cover both could have continued shooting in the same direction the friend was already engaging.

They should let AI occupy and defend buildings and objectives, give them more than shotguns and rifles. LMGs, rockets, snipers. With reduced damage ofc. They shouldn’t just be cannon fodder to make the game look cooler, they should pose some kind of a threat to the players, dangerous in numbers and if you’re caught off guard will kill you.

Invasion mode made me think up my own large scale AI pve mode. I call it "base assault" Basically 24 players go up aganist multiple rounds of AI enemies. The objective is to destroy the barracks, the fuel depot, the ammo depot, and the control room. When each objectives is destroyed the waves get stronger with varying enemies. I think it would be a fun game.

You can definitely see an improvement in the combat system of ai compared to MW2019, however you can still see many buggy areas that will hopefully be improved in the beta. I hope the final ai product will be consistent to the ai showcase infinity showed us a few weeks ago.

The invasion mod AI is a lot like that of the first Titanfall. They serve to add an "atmosphere" to the match. I remember them having unique animations as well.

Goddamn this is so cool. It's insane how polished, detailed, and smooth AI animation and coding has become. We could have AI like this in campaigns in the past, a setting that's easily controllable through scripted events and the fact there's only one human player. But having it interact the dynamic and fairly unpredictable setting of a multiplayer match is insane to me. I also wish we could play with skins like these (hoping for more and more mil-sim skins like the last modern warfare) Edit: The model with the wedding ring at 3:17 is really cool to me. Such a seemingly minor detail that somehow adds a lot more realness and humanity to these AI

I have no idea why people hate this. This is literally the PEAK of ai in shooters. People just don't like that they aren't slide cancelling and jumping around corners and are actually tailored to the realistic setting in this COD.

Even Counter Strike Source bot (this game even have dynamic radio chatter for bot which very realistic at that time) and FEAR 1 had better AI than this. I recommend you to play more games before talking shit. The AI of this game (or every CoDs) don’t even have a thing called “AI behaviour system” that a lot of old games like Halo, Half Life, FEAR or Alien Isolation already had. Most of bots AI in this game are also scripted (both multiplayer or singleplayer), they’re just running around and shooting at each other, and those bots doing what dev want they do, by the lifeless way.
