Great video boys. Hit ball not well today but 11 putts for 38. Can’t wait for the hogan modules but still so much work to do. ABS putting baby!!

I’ve been swinging for 4 seasons, taught by an advanced TGM instructor. He has always taught me to have my right elbow bent through impact, never to try and straighten it.

Bryson Dechambeau talks about the right arm straightening after the strike in multiple videos. it seems there is a lot of ways to get it done…

Depends where you set the bar of excellence... accuracy and ball control are more my priority than how far can the ball travel off a driver.

There are infinite ways to get it done. which is why golf coaches are all charlatans / salesmen. It doesn't help that golfers are usually gullible and uncoordinated casuals who suck at sports.

In a video where Gary McCord was explaining (gushing) over O'Grady's MORAD system, he noted that he talked with someone that claimed Hogan did not write his own book. But also, didn't Hogan's swing change a lot over his career??

Al Barkow also told me Hogan did not write his books. I'm sure he had some involvement... but not as much as most people think or assume. And yes, Hogan's swing changed quite significantly or even radically over the years.

Great stuff, I’m currently a 1.6 and definitely a swinger. What are the first steps to try and transition to a hitter. Really want more control

Modules 1 - 3 would be a good start.

I'm not much of a salesman, but we do transition golfers into hitters daily.

Just one question. . . is the ABS definition of hitter vs swinger the same as Homer's definition?
@lagpressure4 ай бұрын
Short answer.... no. Long answer ...absolutely not!

Great answer. It made me chuckle. This has been confusing me a bit as I know you were coached by Ben Doyle as a kid. Thanks.

Should a young kid learn to be a swinger first and then transition them to hitting as they grow stronger in teenage years?
@lagpressure4 ай бұрын
I suppose there is an argument for that... but I wish I had learned to be a hitter at age 11.

Keeping the face looking at the target is confusing. If, as a hitter, you keep the face square to your rotating torso, then the face is still only square to your target for a moment, because you’re still rotating your shoulders .
