Mine came with no parts list, instructions, or spacers. Thanks for your video. It made the difference between a phone call and shipping it back

In my opinion your install method is by far the most intelligent.

I put on an advanced chute sytem blocker ACS6000UBLS for my Arien Icon XL52. Works like a dream. I only had to drill one extra hole for the installation. I used the supplied spacers for the install. Regards Richard Sacco

Richard Sacco are you still liking it?

1) Hard to hear you. 2) Maybe start out with the parts on a table, skip the car ride. 3) Does the handle make you move your feet to the left side of the footwell or do you just do that for your own comfort? 4) You're smart. I liked watching you figure your way through this puzzle.

How has it held up in nearly 3 years? Pro's cons of the chute and the way you mounted it?

It’s still working the same as when I installed it but on my new mowers I have switched designs and I’ve been making my own. I’m going to post a video of making one from scratch.

The holes are useless. They stop up in five minutes of mowing.

Those spacers are for raising the mount up so the bottom of the chute is level with the deck. You literally cut on a 200 dollar piece up for nothing. They engineered it to work that way.

The “one size fits all” spacers loosen up and it doesn’t work very well. If I needed it to be longer I have the ability to weld it back. It helps to have some metal fab skills. I would be willing to bet my way of installing it won’t loosen up because I’m not using shitty zinc bolts. 👍🏼

AB Fabrication ive owned a few of theae and getting ready to install one on a wright Stander x. The spacers are to raise it up flush with the bottom of your deck so it doesn't "dig" when you make right turns. I left one long about 8 years ago on a Hustler WB and stuff snagged it all the time. The spacers actually work pretty well. It is def one of the better chutes out there, but you would think they would have direct bolt on for exmark and wright??????

I know this vid is 4 years old - but it's still relevant if you are applying this plate to a new mower. I agree with AB Fab. Using the spacers and a high plate is the mfg way of making it fit multiple decks. If you can surface mount to a deck by either welding or drilling a few holes - it looks better than a bunch of goofy spacers. Cutting the cover plate height down to match the bottom of the discharge chute makes it look custom to the particular deck.
