Thanks for the video. It is always interesting to see different routes. The first boss is the most frustrating or seconds most (Ara last boss) of the season in 12+ pugging. It is amazing how the two ranged find a way to put the puddles in the worst possible spots to cut you off.

To me as a healer it feels like the easiest boss by far. For a TWW boss it has shockingly little unavoidable damage. The pools are difficult but if done right, become completely ignorable and you can even just not take a single tick too. The dot from the dispel is a joke, and that just leaves you with beam aoe which can be healed with incidental hots. Compared to the other two bosses there which are some of the hardest to heal fights in the season. Second boss is an absolute nightmare (though at least its very stationary which helps) and the third one just goes on for freaking ever. Then there is CoT where every single boss can brick a key +12 an higher.

@@nickfarace9339 When you play with a group that knows how to position the pools, it is incredibly easy, I agree. I didn't mention anything on difficulty. I said frustrating in a pug. Frustrating != Difficult.

Obvi not a huge deal, but could be nice (unless you already do this in your other videos) to timestamp Pull #1, Pull #2, etc. in these videos. Great videos and explanations, regardless. Thanks so much.

I do that in quite a few of my videos, just the walkthroughs I tend to not do it because I have a bad habit of jumping around on occasion hahaha.

Another good one. As you walk through these call out what a healer should be doing every now and again. Specifically the big parts. Iv been watching healer commentary videos, but I am trying to get the tank perspective, as well. I feel like this dungeon specifically is hard with healer AGGRO. Iv had issues in the past and I now see how or where somebody messed up. Keep it up and through us healers some love!!

Definitely something I can do a better job of, glad you enjoyed it though!

Hey Tac! Why dont you use Color Coded Mobs/Casters vs Melee?
@Tactyks27 күн бұрын
Honestly I find that to be a bit cluttered/excessive personally, I prefer to stick to threat colouring (especially this season with enhance hahaha). I have considered colouring mobs specifically with certain headmarkers but haven't committed to that yet.
@peaceinthemiddleeast27 күн бұрын
@Tactyks interesting. I feel like finding the mob by reading those names are more cluttered and hectic. Awesome appreciate the answer! Thanks for your videos. I use a color code with a threat indicator icon.

@@peaceinthemiddleeast Could just be that I'm used to the current setup but it doesn't feel hectic, especially if the mob is marked as then I can clearly see it, but it's all personal preference! Glad you enjoy the content :)

Having such a tough time deciding what tank to play. Never tanked a day in my life lol. I have ksh as a healer and dps already, but I’m stuck between bear or vdh, which do you think is better for a newer tank player?

@ I’d rather not play the meta spec, I leveled my pala and just didn’t find it terribly fun honestly
@michaelgardiner4249Ай бұрын
Out of the two bear is easier to play at a base level. VDH isn’t terribly hard, however you have to have a very good grasp of your defensive timings otherwise you will just disappear.
@nickfarace9339Ай бұрын
@@hadishabara350 After what I have seen in 12 and 13 lately, this is no the case. Its strong for meta, but its not newbie friendly in high keys. These mofos get one shot by major tank busters all the freaking time. I feel like the answer is absolutely bear. DH is one of those specs that can and will randomly blow up and really, really needs to know a lot about the little things to ensure they don't die 1 second into a pull. They settle in to become incredibly sturdy, but it takes a bit to get there and some pulls don't give you that cushion.

thanks for the good work, it will improve my gameplay! Sometimes you jump in the middle of the sentence to another topic when another association comes to your mind. It makes it a little bit annoying to listen, especially for me as non native english speaker.

Happy to help! Totally understand how the jumping around can make things a bit confusing, I generally try and have an outline for videos so that I don't miss anything and can just kind of talk about things in order but I have a bad habit of missing things here or there and remembering halfway through the video as you noticed hahaha. It is noted though!

Is there a WA or add-on that tells you what incoming damage is coded as, magic or physical, to learn what defenses we can use on what abilities?
@keiya9895Ай бұрын
Plater and MDT can help you with that. I'm a tank and I colour code cast bars for phys and magic damage
@TactyksАй бұрын
In terms of in-game stuff keiya gave the best advice to use something like Plater to colour code mobs, though I'm not sure there's currently a profile out there that does this for every mob. Mostly it's just knowledge before hand, where you can check things like MDT or my dungeon spreadsheet (linked in the description) to get an idea of what mobs use what abilities.
