Another thing that makes a decent difference between characters is how fast they stand up during their uncrouch animation - some characters do it very quickly, others keep your hurtbox low for quite a while, like Q. You aren't blocking during these frames, and since your stick needs to be in neutral for a frame before parrying, there's a chance you get hit there. You can work around this to some degree by whiffing a crouching jab to lock yourself into a crouch, and then parrying right before it recovers

Unimaginably helpful, thank you so much. As a Hugo and Urien player I will be using this as much as I can! Only thing I caught was that parry into LK tackle could work for Urien here, it’s a good way to deal with jump ins as it’s fast and starts a juggle/unblockable set up

Can you please tell us how to increase the save state slots from 8 to a larger number i think your older video is not very clear. For example in the training lua folder the code which you edit is actually a link to a website and can not be edited you say you use note++ hiw do i go about coppying the code to note++ and then how do i then apply this change to the training lua folder?

a .lua file can be opened in notepad++, or even regular notepad. So I'm confused? Open 3rd_training.lua Find the line "recording_slot_count = 8" Change 8 to any number you want, save it.
